Really that's surprising since I think all three were in CFL last year.
Training Camp for CFL has started, only three Hokie's are in CFL camps.

Teams and names to watch today. Detroit and Fuller, Kansas City and Nicholas (I think he makes roster), Washington and Painter, New York Giants Thomas and New Orleans Tapp. Those seem like only players even on cut discussion list now.
As you can tell by the list on the main post it wasn't a good cut down day for the Hokies: Tapp, Thomas, Painter, Graham, Hanson and Botkin all got final day cut.

To start the season Hokies will only have 10 guys on active rosters.
Bummer to see so many guys cut but it just goes to show just how hard it is to make an NFL roster. Going through the list of names on all the teams, you see quite a few "name" guys from college that don't make it.
And seeing LT cut is a little sad but not surprising. While he was a solid college QB, I never felt he had the accuracy to be an NFL QB. He's got loads of physical gifts but it may be too late into his NFL career to go the Tyrelle Pryor route and move to WR (or TE given his frame)

No, he and Giants did an "injury settlement" he gets some money and can sign with someone else whenever he wants/is healed.

Would have to count games Logan was on active roster but I'm assuming he is getting close.
I'm even wondering about his time on the practice squad. He was on the Dolphins Practice Squad for most of last year (elevated with a game or two left in the season). Now he's on the Giants practice squad this year. If he spends the whole season there, at most he has one more year before he has to make an NFL roster from here on out. Just not sure if he spent any time on the Card's PS.

Speaking of (and hopefully not off topic for this forum) does anyone know what Ryan Williams is up to these days? After being cut from the Cowboys last year after being put on their I.R, I haven't been able to find any updates on him. Does anyone know if he made another push this year or if he is done with football completely? One of my favorite Hokies of all time, and I always hoped he could overcome his early injuries.

I doubt Exum jr shows up on this list next year. I actually wanted him to be a part time filler role when Harrison Smith got injured for the Vikings but his play just isn't NFL caliber from what I saw against Seattle and Atlanta last year, granted he had a better game against the Falcons, but he was ALWAYS getting out of position against the Seahawks. I don't see him ever making a good career in the NFL
He was hurt last year in those games and played through significant injury. Word was going around preseason that he was going to start in Sendejo's spot until he got hurt.

It's a ruptured tendon and he is done for the year. Another blow to Hokies in the pros.
8 Hokies finished the season on the "active roster" that's a lot of cuts, injuries and the like. Hopefully we see that number bump up 4-6 next season.
We're about to have our best draft in years regardless of where/if Evans gets taken. Should see a healthy bump.
But how many current players Corey Fuller, Exum, Thomas are not on rosters next year so your net positive is lower?
We'll have to see it play out I guess. I'd say relative to the amount of players we have in the league any positive number would be pretty significant.
I think Exum winds up on his feet. He was getting good PT before he got hurt and had a decent impact.
