I hinted at this yesterday, but here is a hype video to get you excited for the upcoming season as the spring game occurs today.

Great job! Love the respect for coach Beamer and the smooth transition to CJF. Can't wait for season to start. Man it going to be strange not having Frank on the sideline. I hope we hear from him a little during the year but I'm sure he is going to keep a low profile during the transition. Frank is a class guy, he will be missed!

Yes that is a good substitute, but what I was going for was to quote the message that is next to the Hokiestone in the tunnel.
It reads as it appears in the video. "For those who have passed, and for those to come. Reach for excellence."

I have to say, over the past couple of years I had lost a little bit of the fire that I felt watching my Hokies. I used to get chills with every one of these hype videos. I don't know whether it was complacency on my part or what, but I started noticing it and I hated it. i thought maybe it's because I'm all the way out here in SoCal and have been so far from home for so long. I thought I'd felt that feeling for the last time. With this new infusion of energy that is embodying the program I can't help but feel rejuvenated as well. Now every hype video, every all access video, each one I just get amped up. It's a feeling that I missed, and to quote the great Ricky Bobby.."thank you mama speed I am back!!!" Go Hokies!!!

To all my fellow TKP'ers, I feel I must come clean and confess. I am a 69 year old man that has noticed that the older I get, the more emotional I get. It starts with sitting in Lane and watching the Corp march in and, being a vet, how much I appreciate their commitment to out nation and our freedom. I stand proudly and salute our colors and sing our National Anthem. My wife looks up at me and asks if I'm ok. Tears are streaming down my face with pride and humility that I am participating in a great event. I watched this trailer with the same damn emotion. Tears rolling down my face, I had to shut the door to my office. I thank the good Lord that I am a HOKIE.
I wanted to bump this thread just to extend my appreciation to all you wonderful Hokies.
This video is about to hit 60,000 views, which is insane to me. As far as I can tell, it's one of the most viewed trailers for Tech football on YouTube, right up there with the Dozer trailers that inspired me to make this in the first place. I never expected this type of response going into making my first ever video like this. I wanted to thank you guys for helping share this video around. Community like this is what makes me proud to become a true part of Hokie Nation this fall.
