Both RB Khalan Laborn and S Devon Hunter are at the top of Virginia Tech's 2017 recruiting board. The 757 standouts provided updates on their recruitment at the Nike Opening Regional Charlotte.

Timely. This is WAY more fun than the latest reading material. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want these guys. Hope Laborn holds out on committing until he sees our offense and sees how he can step right in and be a star.
Feel like they would fit in great at Tech. Hunter seems like a great all around player.

Almost no chance Laborn doesn't go FSU. Hunter is so in the air but definitely has a lot of love for VT
Don't count us out on Laborn. FSU is very much the leader but if they pull in some of the other RB's they are recruiting before Laborn it could sway his mind. Biggest concern I have is UNC stiffing around. Laborn knows we are here and the I'm sure the coaches are staying in his ear. We shall see how it all pans out.
I know it's not really overly significant, as we have learned the hard way many times, but Hunter picked up another CB to the good guys today. That's 4 to us and 1 to Clemson.
I am cautiously optimistic that we land Hunter and maybe a few other of our bigger targets. Missing on Crosby was tough, but the excitement of our future may help us land a few this cycle, and a noticeable improvement on the field, with a more enticing offense should help steer some recruits back our way with more consistency.
So he is a lock to Clemson.

Well they are pretty reliable. Like if we get CBs for someone they're not coming here.
