In typical UVA style, the Hoos have found a way to scare away talent. The best part is that this happens before his first day on the field. 2016 RB Tre Harbison, an early enrollee, will be transferring from UVA.

RisingFallingOh this?
So is this a....
Harbisonger
....of things to come?
Why is it that we have to Harb-on people's names around here?
His basketball skills were not good enough for Bronco.
Lost an underclassman QB and now RB, things seem to be going well in Hooville.
Which QB just transferred?

Nick Jones
and all the Hoos in Hoovile went Boo Hoo Hoo
At least they would if they actually followed their team.
I mean, we're pretty stacked at the RB position IIRC but wouldn't it be funny to pick him up anyway. Just to kinda give a middle finger to Bronco and the Hoos
I think we learned the last few years that you're never truly stacked at any position.
This. Only have 1 rb that's shown a ton on the field and isn't coming off of ACL surgeries.
I like how right off the bat, the article goes "But guys! It's not THAT bad! We're still in good shape this year!!" Please don't ever change UVA
Same thought... like... hoo are these guys? Because freshman never make an impact.
There's a lot of truth in that quote. Don't see anything wrong with it. Anyone who says they wouldn't like to have Smoke, Zaccheaus, and Reid is lying.
But they don't have a Drew Harris??
Doesn't matter.
Or the next best thing:
The three of them only rushed for 1,200 yards last year. No matter how talented they as an individual might be they are still on the LOLUVA football team as a whole.
They were giving more carries to Smoke when Zaccheaus was their best running back. Hopefully that's still a thing this year for them.
I have to believe that Bronco is a more competent coach than Mike London. I'm expecting LOLUVA to be more competitive this year than in years past. I think they will probably have a decent chance at winning 4 or 5 games.
Their Schedule:
Sept 3 - Richmond Spiders - Should be a Win for the Boohoos
Sept 10 - @ Oregon - LOLoss
Sept 17 - @ UConn - Depending how they regroup after taking a beating in Eugene, this could go either way IMO
Sept 24 - Central Michigan - This is actually a pretty good team. I'm going to give Bronco Benefit of the Doubt (but trust me, there is a lot of doubt)
Oct 1 - @ Duke - Loss
Oct 8 - BYE - probably a loss
Oct 15 - Pitt - Loss
Oct 22 - UNC - Loss
Oct 29 - L'Ville - I think UVA surprises them and wins a close one
Nov 5 - @ Wake - We all know how tough it is to play at Wake. I still think UVA will be the better team and gets the W
Nov 12 - Da U - Richt should have the 'Canes playing well enough to beat UVA at this point in the season.
Nov 19 - @ GT - Toss Up. I have no idea what to expect from GT this year. No one is talking about them which leads me to believe they might actually be pretty good. But it's also GT we're talking about here.
Nov 26 - @ VT - Loss.
I think altogether, UVA can probably eke out 4 or 5 wins. Some of that is based on unknowns; like is GT going to be any good? UVA has, for whatever reason, been really good at beating Miami when they really shouldn't. And that isn't just a London/Golden thing. That trend has managed to span several coaches at both institutions so it will be interesting to see what happens between those two teams over the next 3 years. Personally, I think Richt is overrated as a coach and I could easily see him dropping silly games every year including losing to UVA at home when they are clearly outmatched talent-wise.
probably the only "game" fans show up to thinking it's some fancy acronym for an event or gala!!
Birkenstock Yacht Extravaganza
This would just kick off a Hooville argument about whether it was extravagant or not.
it would be louder in the stadium than any other time during the season
Does Vineyard Vines make sandals?
well let's face it. Their last "game" against no opponent was their spring festival and I think we can all agree everyone walked away from that a loser.
Probably?
It'd require a lot of drugs to believe otherwise...
Anyone got a clip/gif of him being run down by Bonner?
smoke would have been our 2nd leading receiver last year as well. it's more than just rushing for them coming out of the backfield.

I haven't been that impressed with Smoke, but Zaccheaus was pretty impressive in the game vs us.
Wait really? His stats show: 9 carries for 25 yds and 1 carry for 25. That's not impressive in my book.
5 YPC isn't a bad stat line for the freshman.
In comparison, Mizzell was 11 for 26 against us. The whole season played out this way (33 - 262 for 8 YPC vs 163 - 671 for 4 YPC).
If nothing else, I think we can agree that UVA is awful.
From a Wah Wah Hoo Fan:
"This is pretty disappointing...
Living in Charlotte I have heard quite a bit about Tre. He has some promise. Too bad but the trust in Bronco is strong. I'm sure he will take care of it."
He must not have liked the synchronous swimming drill or planking in front of 5K fans at the Festival.
Best part of the page is the news sidebar. "Breaking news in rowing, soccer, and men's and women's golf! Oh and our quarterback left."
Can you blame them? Only like 5 UVA fans have seen their team play in person in years. Out of sight out of mind.
"Virginia loses its only incoming freshman at the RB position, but is still in good shape for the current season."
Still in good shape.....Ok
Don't disagree. Look at who they have at RB.
I think the point was that they might be in good shape at the position, but as a program, they weren't in good shape so you can't say that they're "still in good shape"
I think they wanted him to move to FB, which he did not want to do.
can you blame him? Who wants to be compared to Rogers?

Guess he did't want to be Bronco's workhorse running back...
