Apparently London has convinced all of 757 to create the new U. The U of VA....

This part stood out to me.
They saw the ESPN documentary on The U, on how Miamis program was built with home grown talent.
It was basically all of us watching it, and telling all the other guys to check it out, Harold said of the documentary. All those guys from Florida were staying home and winning championships. It dawned on us that, We can do this, too. I talked with Drew (Cooper), Smoke (five-star running back Taquan Mizzell), all those guys. And, weve got even more guys coming up. We can really change things at Virginia. Its all about staying home.
Word has spread quickly. There are 23 players from the 757 on UVas roster as practice begins Monday. As Harold said, there are more on the way, having already committed for next year, and more that theyre all working on.
This is exactly the reason why London still has a job and is not under pressure, for now, to win. He is winning the recruiting in-state for 5 stars, perhaps not overall. I am not pleased they are pulling in multiple 5 star recruits when we are not, especially when they are from Virginia.
I know this stems back to the Thunderbirds and the 7-on-7 coaches that have shunned VT, but I think it's clear that our strategy to not include them was wrong. Anyone know if there is any progress from VT coaches on changing the 757 mindset?
