I don't see a s/, so Im guessing you're to young to appreciate just how important this man is to our school. Everyone should get a second chance and he is the ultimate turn around story. Served his time, paid all his debts, ohh and was going to be the NFL Mvp the year after he got out of prison if it wasn't for Brady going 18-1. I've got a lot of Respect for Mike Vick. I'll never forget how he was such a great mentor for Tyrod when he was going through draft. Hokie Pride
I have a recurring dream of Mike Vick retiring from NFL only to return as VT 757 head recruiter. Tech then proceeds to get every 4-5 star recruit in the 757. Then I wake up to a nightmare that Duke actually has kids that want to go there for football.

At one point in the trailer a woman says, "people equate what he did with child abuse." Michael Vick is still strongly associated with dog fighting and people hate him, but Adrian Peterson, a guy who actually abused a child, is still pretty well liked. So somehow, what Vick did is worse than abusing a child.

You're opening up a can of worms there... You just opened the door for a giant argument on physical discipline and I really hope this doesn't turn into that.

Ray Lewis killed a guy and he was so beloved by the NFL community his number has been unofficially retired by Baltimore and went on to be one of the faces of the NFL programming on ESPN.

I don't want this to be taken the wrong way but the difference between Lewis/Peterson and Vick in my opinion is their communication skills. Lewis and Peterson are easy to comprehend and project themselves in a lot better image (even during the trouble) than Vick did in his younger days.

Bleacher report and Vick have been showing clips the past few days of this documentary coming up and Beamer was on there talking. I am kind of getting excited for this and Vick seems really behind it as well.

Part 1 has been released. It's only about 9 minutes long, with part 2 coming tomorrow. My main takeaway is that Donovan McNabb is even more annoying than I had previously thought.

You can watch all of the parts on BR's app. I watched it this afternoon. It was ok, not too deep (due to everyone turning down BR for comment) and a lot of stuff I already knew. His comments and openness about it all was refreshing and I'd love to see him at VT in some capacity (recruiting). Alot of short segments to be honest. Not real depth till the convict segment and Vicks comments about how he handled it was the best part of that. All in all it was ok, loved the highlight, just not a lot of beef! He did change the football landscape and how the QB position is viewed

Amen to that. What was the crap about him saying that "other Virginia school in Blacksburg" with that corny grin on his face. Even though they're in conference and everything now, the hell did we ever do to Syracuse?

I was at that game, and it's my favorite memory of a game I saw in person. And I was in NO for the NC game. It was the most fun I've ever had watching a game.

please be a redemption story and not a well your not try hard enough approach.
Yawn, let me know when Ron Mexico gets a documentary.
That guy was legendary...Fully Dipped!!!
No, No, No, getting Fully Dipped was what led him to needing the medical treatment in the first place!

In his defense, the name "Ron Mexico" is fucking hilarious.
It is haha. Is that story definitely true? He used that name to get treatment for a minor skin irritation?
Yeah...minor......"irritation".
The kind of irritation that never quite goes away, like in-laws
whoosh
I thought the sarcasm was pretty clear...
It's a sad day when a /s is necessary for such a sarcastic comment.
I'd watch. I would love it if they interviewed other teams' coaches about what it was like to game plan against MV.
Looking forward to this. Enjoyed the trailer.
