Yesterday VT added their second prospect for 2017, receiving a commitment from Christiansburg Wrestler Hunter Bolen ranked #17 nationally overall by FloWrestling. Bolen decided between the Hokies and ACC foe NCSU. He projects to 165 lbs in college and is a fantastic get for the Hokies.
Bolen joins VA wrestler John Borst on the tech commitment list. Borst commited in early June and is a fantastic wrestler in his own right. Raked #12 at 195 and #67 in the rising senior class, Borst looks poised to man the 197 spot after the graduation of the big red monster, Jared Haught.
Kevin Dresser, Tony Robie and Mike Zadick should be commended for keeping high quality talent hoe and in state!

Just got signed up on TKP tonight. Love all things VT but especially VT wrestling & football. Keep forwarding any wrestling recruit info and tell everybody to go check out VT wrestling at the Moss Arts Center when the Hokies wrestle there. One of the most amazing rasslin' venues in the country.
Welcome aboard! There are a few guys that provide updates on wrestling, baseball, etc., pretty regular. If there's something you're missing during the season (like "hey there's a match tonight"), feel free to share it with us yourself! It's the community that makes TKP great.

Yeah! - I love when we get commits from athletes, but have no idea anything about who this is, as I just started to follow any wrestling on TKP last year. Love the sense of humor on the name, but any background? From where, what weight, rankings, etc?

I don't follow PA wrestling since I stopped running the tabulations for the regional tournaments a few years ago (the step right before state competition), but the competition up here has always been some of the best in the nation. Huge get for the Hokies, at first glance.

I have no clue. I really enjoy watching wrestling but unfortunately I know very little about its skills and recruiting. I posted in hopes that someone would post more information about it because according to twitter he is a pretty sought after kid. I think jerseyhokie is the TKP's resident wrestling expert.
Do I smell a Nat'l Champ??
The PSU folks up here will definitely, definitely have something to say about that considering they won in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. They love their wrestling up here.
