If memory serves me correctly, Mitchell Ludwig was working at punter last year and continues to do so this year. I'd bet money we see Ludwig punting this year.
seeing rumblings elsewhere that shibest isn't too pleased with Ludwig and it is a major concern for VT.. hence the Slye question
It can't be worse than when we resorted to Danny Coale punting can it?
Actually I thought that worked out pretty well, given the circumstances.

He punted well in that game! He just didn't run from the punter position very well.
Over the three game where Coale was the punter, he averaged 45.7 yards per punt on 11 punts and had a long of 61. Those seem like good punting numbers to me.
Slye is punting along with Ludwig. But there hasn't been a starter made or anything.
So here is a follow on question, is there anyone else punting? Any walk-ons?
I saw where there is a tryout for walk-ons soon. If I remember correctly, I saw it on twitter.
In the snapchat some kid named Brian Johnson was introduced as a "new kicker" not sure if he might be a walk on punter or not.
Brian Johnson is a walk on punter/kickoff guy. Slye confirmed it today.

Ask Mook and/or Deablo about building a pipeline from the Triad, if they talk to Hooker about it, if they influenced him picking VT, if they actively talk up VT to other players in the area, etc.

This may have been addressed before, but I feel like people used to be pretty concerned about our ability (or lack there of) to sustain drives and give the defense a rest. So maybe something addressing that and the uptempo offense?
