Remember that hubbub about the NCAA not extending its deal with EA Sports? Remember how the general consensus was that next year's game would essentially be the same, just without the NCAA logo? Well, this might toss a wrench into that idea:

Obviously, they could still have a game with the remaining conferences, and create "fantasy conferences" or whatever with the teams from these conferences, but what happens when half the teams from these conferences follow suit?

Bring back 989 Sports!
This literally could be the last NCAA game for a while. Unless someone is building it last year, I doubt it'd be done for release 2014-2015.
They really screwed the pooch on this one. But, it only opens the door for other developers to come in and make a better game. EA is still king until they aren't.
Also, the ACC needs to follow suit. Don't be the last ass to the table. You have two SEC football teams, act like it.
