Let's be honest, either is better than 99% of the people reading this site would ever reach.

I always hope that they at least medal!

I'm still holding out hope that I pick up curling at some point and bring home the gold.

Yeah, but the only curling club I found was in Richmond. We need one in the NRV.

99% is generous....

I got equestrian on lock down

So are the equestrian events the HOAT version of Tinder?

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

Dressage is where it's at.

More like un-dressage amirite?

Hey, did anyone read that blip about Kris Hump-Ex-Kardashian-Humphries apparently swam faster than BOTH Phelps and Lochte back in the mid 90s??

Gotta be the beginning of a joke so let me take one for the team.... no, what did they say?

She won the bronze as US women sweep.

Did anyone else catch that Queen Harrison got engaged a couple days ago after her boyfriend medaled in a track event?

I was there and it was AMAZING!!! Kristi won the Bronze Medal while two other Americans won Gold and Silver.

As Kristi walked around the track following the race, I screamed "Go Hokies!" She responded by throwing up the "VT Hands"!

You should send this to the Hokie Track and field and Hokie sports social media accounts. They would use the crap out of it.

But seriously, send this pic to the Athletic Department. A US Olympian throwing the VT sign in Maracana with the flag draped around her shoulders after winning an Olympic Medal? Uhhhh, yeah, this is the kind of pic that will be hanging on walls in the Athletic Department for years to come.

Yep that was me! Hoda went crazy when she saw my VT hat. My wife and I were able to take a picture with her.

Haha, that's not me. There must've been another Hokie in the crowd! What are the odds?

Awesome! One of my friends from VT also got a picture with Hoda in Rio because she saw her in her VT shirt.

Hoda was awesome. She kept walking over to the crowd during the commercial breaks. She was all smiles the entire morning
