Brian Fremeau used his FEI ratings system (http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/fei) to project Virginia Tech's 2016 wins distribution.
Virginia Tech projected record distribution per FEI:1% 11-16% 10-215% 9-324% 8-425% 7-518% 6-68% 5-73% 4-8 https://t.co/63VT3nFacK— Brian Fremeau (@bcfremeau) August 27, 2016
I'm bearish on the Hokies this season, as you will see in TKP's staff predictions later this week, so these numbers (specifically the 89% to bowl) were comforting.

Glad to see I'm not off-base in thinking 8-4 is reasonable.
Just my opinion, but the 7-5 range would be about par for years past, and 8-4 would be a step forward. With an unknown at QB and a new offense, that would be a great year.
This can't be accurate. He left off 12-0+.
Well, he's not completely off base.
