Before people get upset that an Alabama fan is on your site just know that I'm not on here to trash your team or their outstanding program. There's fans in every program but were not all like Updike. I will talk smack with people for fun but all in all I have allot of respect for the VT coaches and players. They have accomplished great things as a program and will continue to do so in the future. The game we played against you in 09 was tough hard fought game and in no way a pushover. I have already had the pleasure of talking with a few of you all in good fun on both sides. I love how loyal people are to thier teams. When our teams win we rejoice and loose we share the pain.
That being said I am a die hard Bama fan and I believe my team is the best in the nation.
I posted on one of these threads earlier and I thought why not have a friendly wager. If VT happens to beat Bama on 31 Aug this year. I will shave my head... ok yeah being military that's not gonna be to noticeable LOL. Seriously though. If that happens I will take a pic of me wearing a VT shirt and post it on your site. Considering the fact my wife is an Auburn fan she will be all to over come with joy to take the pic. smh. Don't worry I don't judge her.. lol. Of course someone would have to send me a shirt and I will even cheer for VT every game they play. If they do go to the rose bowl. Ill put on a VT jersey and cheer for you guys just as hard as you would. Now who on here is willing to do that if Bama wins?? With the Bama shirt that is?? Any takers??

I seem to recall hearing a story about another wager between an Alabama fan and a Virginia Tech fan from about a decade ago. I think it had something to do with a car. Maybe, like a '79 El Dorado or something, where the VT fan bet the Alabama fan the car that we'd win our first national championship before Alabama would win their next one. At the time, maybe it seemed like a decent bet. But then Alabama hired Saban. It's pretty clear who won the bet, but does anyone else remember it? Does anyone know if the debt was paid?
