Subsequent tweets seem to indicate another player transferring. Something mixed in about Wyatt Teller maybe moving back to DT. Twitter is a blessing and a curse, quick information release, but only partial (and maybe wrong) information...

Ugh, if true it means that Harley must step up. Might mean that Teller is heading back to the D-line.
With the injuries and transfers it seems this offseason will never end. Wonder what his reasoning is, I felt he would be seeing the field quite a bit this year.
If there is a silver lining in this perhaps it springs more interest from recruits such as walker or nnadi.
Lets just make it two weeks without another loss.

If true, Teller isn't going back. Nigel Williams worked with Woody Baron with the 2's as the scrimmage progressed and Harley hurt his shoulder.
I hope it isn't true. I am very high on Marshall as an end.
Well, looks like one more scholarship available for the next couple years. Not stoked to see Marshall leave, but best of luck to him.
The Hokies are going to be bad this year, so if the kid wants to go away to obscurity it opens up a slot for the next few years.
Lets let them stink it up first. I think there is more competition in this program than in recent memory. Maybe thats why guys are transferring. I think whoever is left and gets on the field will be as good as they can be right now. I had not felt that way about previous teams with our talent and coaching. We needed change. We got it. Change is never easy. For the first timehere in awhile this team is heading toward being the Hokies we envision. These coaches will get them there as quick as possible and Beamer will get one more shot at what he so much deserves.
someone on the other board said marshall was basically asked to leave. Heard he was a ME player and was a cancer in the locker room, but I don't know the truth to that or not. However this hurts us in the worst way right now. If we have any injuries we might as well start signing some water boys
I figure it has to be personal. The defensive coaches haven't changed (although the overall culture and attitude of the team may have) and he was certainly going to get playing time. Maybe this is the kick in the butt that Kris Harley needs to break out. Whatever the reason, hopefully Corey finds a place that's right for him. He definitely had his beastly moments for us.
I have a hard time believing that because Beamer said he unselfishly moved to dt for this year, never know what actually happened though I guess
based on GobblerCountry's tweets, it seems that it was some type of personal issue, as he tweeted something about he thought he was a good guy. I guess the truth will come out soon enough.
It seems to have been untrue..just saw where he went home for the weekend to think things over but spoke with Beamer today and remains a member of the team. Go Hokies!
nah its being reported as it was true, he left the team and went home. And then met with beamer and decided to stay. Its what I gather from all the sources on twitter who cover vt
Yeah, the way the Richmond Times Dispatch reported it had me thinking the same thing. Said he did leave, but then came back. Glad he decided to stay.
