I wanted to post this, it's not exactly a big deal but I noticed something in this video that I wanted to point out. When I watched the video I thought Logan looked really comfortable, relaxed, and he seemed to be having a good time. I haven't seen him like this in videos or interviews in a long time. It may have been because it didn't have anything to do with football and media folks weren't pestering him with convicting questions. It makes me think things are going well enough in camp for him to be able to get on camera like this, joke around with teammates/coaches as well as students and enjoy himself.

I don't know, it stuck out to me as a good thing. At the very least it gives you something to watch if you're bored.
Oh, and as of this posting it's 9 days and 6 minutes till kickoff. #BEATBAMA

That was awesome. LT is a natural
Quick before we know it, ESPN is gonna scoop him up for an analyst or color commentator position.
that wouldnt be so bad. we need somebody up there in bristol with a little knowledge and respect for our program. i get tired of nothing but $ec and big 10/14 homers talking about our school and conference on the mothership.
truer words could not be spoken.
False. "It was a catch." Done.

love that chemistry between Logan and Malleck hope it translates to the field in Loeffler's offense.
Move-In Day... 4-years ago, we helped out on my last one as an Undergrad. #TeamHokie
Time really did fly by that year.
That was kind of depressing, getting help from the football team and don't even know who is who. Pink shorts was serious by the way...
I was just about to post something to this effect... That's terrible. You have season tickets but you don't know who the starting QB for your football team is? And even worse, they probably thought Bud Foster was just a middle-aged man with a goatee.
I mean to be fair, not everyone who goes to Virginia Tech is going to be a massive football fan. TBH, I wasn't a big football fan until my freshman year at VT.
And yet, they have season football tickets. You missed that important part.
Microcosm of the ills of the student section these days....
Yeah, that's true. But if you have season tickets you usually have some love for the game or knowledge of the game. I might be extrapolating a little bit but they seem like they're just looking for the next party scene to hangout with their friends. They might not even watch the game. Or maybe they'll leave at halftime.
Sorry for the mini rant but as a die-hard fan it's an aggravating thing to see.
umm... So what. She'll be there and yelling from the sidelines. Hell, I couldn't pick out Grant Noel from a crowd of 2, so I would've been in the same boat as her as a freshman. Let it go. She'll learn. This is probably her first true exposure to Hokie football, and by all accounts, she is starting it off right with season tickets.
It's like applying to be an American citizen and not even knowing who the president is. I'm sure she can be a good "fan" if all it takes to be one is yelling at a game while scrolling through twitter on your phone and leaving at halftime.
To be fair, we should come up with a gender bias analogy. It's more like going to watch the Book of Mormon, and not knowing who the lead actor is. I am not a huge fan of musicals, like my wife is, but I'm super excited to see this musical as it will probably be the funniest thing I see, maybe ever. And I have no idea who the lead is.
Well said. I had not taken that into full consideration.
Kirk Bones +1
Sorry Grant Noel to Logan Thomas is not an apples to apples comparison.
This is true

Lol - just got to this after posting +1 for the other one.
That is sad. My parents who live in South Carolina have no relation to Virginia Tech besides the fact that I'm a huge fan (I didn't go to Virginia Tech, or any college for that matter) but even they could tell you the past 3 QBs at Virginia Tech.
True, and South Carolinians have a very health appetite/knowledge for all things football.
My wife is a born/raised Carolina girl and can talk football with the best.
She once recognized then Panthers coach John Fox in a bar and proceeded to ask him to consider utilizing Peppers as a wideout to run the fade to. 3rd preseason game that year, he did, and my wife took credit for giving him the idea...
I love southern girls....
+1 for that last sentence. Wish I could upvote more.
Unless you live in the area, you don't get to see interviews with the players making it more difficult to identify them without a numbered jersey on. That said, knowing who Logan Thomas and Bud Foster by sight should be a no brainer!
