Gameday crew talking good about VT. Herby and Corso pick UNC, Rece picked VT, but everyone is predicting a shootout. I couldn't tell if Desmond actually made a pick, but he called it a sneaky good game.
Des always seems to lean towards the good guys.
That's because, deep down inside, he knows it was a catch.
Funny they talked us up then picked UNC; Des talked up UNC then appeared to give the edge to VT.

UPDATE: I'm watching the ND-NCST game. Neither of the QBs can throw the ball and there have been fumbles and interceptions. This maybe a case on everything depending on the run game and who can hold on to the ball.

UPDATE 2: My sister had great fun - we all did. Sure we were wet, wet enough at the end my brother-in-law was able to pour more than a cup of water out of his boots. However, victory makes the wet, cold clothes some how not so wet and not so cold.
After the game was over, most if not all, the team came by and greeted the fans in the stands. It was fantastic!

We bought one this week. But I really don't want to use it so I can return it and get a better one.
Certainly understand that thinking, hope you don't need it. We have one that came with our house. Gas (propane) fired, automatic, runs everything but the kitchen stove and the heat pump, while water, fridge, lights, TV and wall outlets are supplied. Haven't needed it much yet, but living at the Chesapeake Bay, it is a matter of time before we'll be needing it for more than a few hours. Not easy to go out and spend the bucks, but thankfully, the seller of our house made that decision for us. It's also nice not to have to gas it up and get it started when needed, like the middle of the night or when it is really crappy out, plus not storing gasoline for it.

Bonus tip. If I don't warn you in time and you do have the problem mentioned above corn starch is your friend. Rub it anywhere there is a problem and it helps a ton. These are lessons I learned in my days as a Boy Scout.

Don't live in Richmond, so I can't vouch for the best, but Rock Bottom Brewery at Short Pump is a decent place to watch sports.

My Direct TV guide also has it on an espn alternate channel, 209-1.
That's likely for the ESPN2 mirror, and you would only get it on that channel if you were supposed to get BYU/MSU on ABC.
For some reason, satellite companies don't replace the feed, they just use alternate channels.

It's supposed to be 10 min and there is a 30 min gap between the end of NCST ND and us. Hopefully it pans out cause everyone decides to run in the second half and speed the game up.
Lightning delay is a minimum of 30 minutes. The stadium is now announcing a voluntary evacuation. I expect the delay to ultimately be much longer and will overrun our start time.

Well, they certainly can focus on stopping the run. The ball is very difficult to catch.
Regardless of who wins this game I don't think we're going to learn who the "better" team is. The weather seems to be clearly effecting execution for both sides and it's forcing turnovers that wouldn't normally happen.

I think we see a lot of QB power in the second half. But the bread and butter of this offense is misdirection. We started to get to the edge with runs in the 2nd quarter so I think we are setting some stuff up as well. With this crap weather I don't care how we win. I just want to win the game.

A kickoff going out of bounds is a penalty. I think they put the ball on the 40.
It's an illegal procedure call. The kick cannot go out of bounds before crossing the goal line. Ball would have been placed on UNC's 40 had they not done the re-kick. For the record, I've never seen a re-kick before, but apparently you can get a do-over if the ball is falling off the tee.
It was gonna be a kickoff out-of-bounds, but Slye got to re-kick because the ball was falling off the tee.
