I think your confusing TKP player's club with Hokie Club. Hokie Club is the Athletic Dept. actual donor club. They raise money for scholarships, facilities, etc.

Won't know till new numbers come out with yearly report. But the Hokie Club twitter account does a "welcome new members" tweet every month and it's has at least 10-30 new members listed every time. Also recently every Football and most Athletic Dept staffers all joined.
