Hokkaido is probably too far for personal travel, I may go up there for work. Very cool though. I've enjoyed it so far except its very difficult to watch football!

With all the attention given to Ekanem and Williams, Baron has been a bit of a secret weapon IMO. It works for me though.

We were a couple of busted coverages away from UNCing Miami as well. Great performance tonight.
I think we learned a lot about this team the last 2 weeks. My guess is we end the season ranked somewhere between 15-20 when it's all said and done.
I can live with that. I think all the playoff talk was a little premature, but having a legit shot at winning the Coastal in Fuente's first year is huge.

When my scout troop camped there it was so stormy we hung out in the gift shop/museum for an entire day. Watched that movie 3 times at least.

I made the critical error of watching the game w/ my best friend, and that's just a bad idea. We are 0-2 every time we watch a game together this year, and previous years records are just as bad. I think the last time we witnessed a win together was against Miami a few years back.
So, much as it pains me, I'll be watching on my own the rest of the year.

I hate to admit it but I was pretty skeptical about our chances tonight. I have a lot of respect for Coach Mark Reicht and there is no doubt about the talent they have recruited thru the years.

The secondary got abused a bit but they made enough plays, and the pass rush was unreal tonight which is incredible considering no Ekanem or Williams. The running game really took control in the second half. Not a perfect game for sure but beating Miami by 3 touchdowns is pretty damn sweet. These men bounced back wonderfully. And the Lane crowd was awesome...I wish I was there.

We let the Dragon fly, D stepped up, Hill had a great bend in on a sack on that crucial third down that probably made French smile really big, and the offense made drives to put the game away. Great game, way to bounce back from a tough loss.

That was a big, important win but I don't think VT can afford to lose another conference game. UNC has a pretty easy road the rest of the way with NCSU being their only real test. At 7-1 in the conference they would win the division if VT loses again. (f%&ing Syracuse....)
And this is where we will see if Syracuse was really an anomaly. We should beat Pitt, Duke, GT, and LOLUVa, we are a better all around team than any of those four.
All of those teams have a chance to make the game interesting based on what they've shown this year (and their history against us). I'm the least concerned about GT, oddly enough, but another potential trap with ND and UVa the following weeks.
When we got back from the game I found that recording it on TV did not work. Would like to watch it again, is there any place to see a replay of the original feed?
