In reality I agree, but even if it is only in your mind it can eat at you. I know people that believe they are going to fail or that something bad is going to happen and sure enough the failure and bad thing come to be. Look back through the thread tonight and at different times comments were made to the effect "All the bad things of the past are happening again".
I don't know if the players or coaches do that; they do after all have the ability to do something to affect the outcome of the game. We fans do all sorts of superstitious / silly things to help the team win when, of course, the clothes I wear or where I sit make absolutely no impact on what happens. When things go wrong for our team, someone or thing must be blamed.
The team won and in winning they continued to grow in believing in itself and not some imaginary curse. Imaginary or not I am glad the "curse" has been broken / put to rest.

Big time win for these guys. Defense made some stops (last drive was concerning) and the offense got it done. Red Zone offense was terrible tonight, but we got the W in a place that doesn't treat us well against a VERY tough team.
