I'm incredibly surprised we got 150 yards on the ground. I figured we barely got past 50! We were only the second team behind GT to "run" on them!
@French - would love to hear thoughts on how we "ran" on them for 150. Obviously we got nothing up the middle, and we got a few QB midline reads near the end, but were 90% of those yards just on sweeps to Cam?

Lol because I think we didn't really run on them in the traditional sense - presumably on said jet sweeps?
Think of all the yards we would have lost if we had kneeled the ball on the final possession.
I understand first 2 but I really don't understand why we didn't take a knee on the final play.
When he sent Motley in I'm sure he told him to run QB keeper and that's what he did. Don't over think it.
Marshawn had some decent runs. Evans got yards like Evans gets yards. Cam had 2 nice jets and Isaiah had the reverse where he ran for 20-something yards. Mot ran some pretty effective QB power.
Honestly, I thought Marshawn was under-utilized. Skill position blocking wasn't great for stretches. However, Pitt loaded the box. Ultimately if you can't block everyone running will be tough. Fuente continued to run to keep the defense honest, and many of those fades were off play fakes that held up the rush. Keep in mind, the Hokies I believe kept Price (best pass rusher in the ACC) off the sack sheet- and Pitt was only able to get pressure when they brought corners. That opened up the down field stuff.
Man, I wish they had thrown more fades vs Tennessee. I think it was there.
Yes! We needed some mass, and to be honest, I'm starting to believe Marsh has better vision, especially between the tackles.
agreed it happens though, at this point we've gotta put that game behind us because we clearly learned from it. Also I've got to ask is Marshawn the best pass blocker as far as running backs go on the roster? he had some monster blocks in the backfield
The fades were probably there vs. Tennessee, but I suspect the chemistry and timing wasn't quite there between Evans and the receivers at that point in the season.
