I know we all have our favorite and preferred team. But I love me some T-Mobile. He just scored a TD run 1st play from scrimmage. Anyone else watching?
Good, long sustained drive by the offense, followed the TD pass and catch. Tyrod seems to be weathering the 12th man noise and Hawks defense well. I notice that it does make a difference that Kam isn't there. I wish he was. It would be so interesting.

Went to the buffalo-patriots game last week and the fans around me were very aware that the WR and D suck and it isn't Tyrod. They were big fans of him

For all the complaining we do about officiating on here, that was the worst sequence of officiating I've ever seen. Tyrod leads them down to the 35. Richard Sherman jumps 3 seconds before the play and dives right into the kicker's knees. No roughing the kicker, just 5 yard penalty. Then since Sherman took a helmet to Carpenter's knee and he went down, they had to send him off for one play (also ridiculous). Then Bills spike the ball to bring Carpenter back who proceeds to hit field goal but they were called for Delay of Game even though the ref stood over the ball until 4 seconds left on the supposed play clock. Moves them back 5 yards and he missses the field goal.
Unbelievable....

Bad penalties and poor play calling kill the drive, a familiar theme for this team the past two years. 4 minutes to go, down 6, in Seattle territory, 3rd and 14, draw play, shady no gain, punt? Are you fucking kidding me?

Wow, if the refs didn't screw up before the half all the Bills would have needed was a field goal right there. Also, nice missed shove on Thomas in the end zone on the last play there refs.
God, the NFL is becoming more unwatchable by the day.

CAN SOMEONE MAKE A GIF OF THE LAST PLAY ALL 22 THEY SHOWED!? I'M WATCHING AND REWATCHING ON MY DVR #19 GETS TACKLED/DECKED BY RICHARD SHERMAN IN THE END ZONE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF A REFEREE! SORRY I'M YELLING, BUT THIS WAS EGREGIOUS!

The NFL wonders why they're losing ratings. They are complaining that people aren't watching their games anymore, but they have refs who are so incompetent they ruin the chances for teams to win. They admitted to 2 mistakes on the SAME PLAY to end the half. Should have given them the 3 points and this game should've gone to overtime. Maybe another tie? And then the NFL would've really gotten put on blast.
Whatever. /rant

THANK YOU BOTH! HOW THE FUCK DOES THE REFEREE NOT THROW HIS FLAG? WHAT THE FUCK IS HE LOOKING AT? DOES HE SEE IT AND THINK IT'S CLEAN? EITHER HE'S BLIND AND THEREFORE INCOMPETENT OR HE'S IGNORANT OF THE RULES AND THEREFORE INCOMPETENT. YOU'RE 5 FEET AWAY FROM ILLEGAL CONTACT, THROW THE FLAG AND DO YOUR FUCKING JOB!

Seems like a dumb rule, but actually according to the NFL rulebook (here):
Once the quarterback hands off or pitches the ball to a back, or if the quarterback leaves the pocket area, the restrictions (illegal chuck, illegal cut) on the defensive team relative to the offensive receivers will end, provided the ball is not in the air.

I saw Sherman tweet something about this in response, but his hit on that guy wasn't illegal contact, it was almost certainly unnecessary roughness. Additionally, I don't think being out of the pocket eliminate's illegal contact/pass interference that Earl Thomas did to disrupt Woods route across the end zone. I've never seen a game where a QB left the pocket and all the db's violently shoved the receivers without getting a call.

True, a flag clearly should have been thrown on Thomas. Sherman's situation is more of a judgement call by the ref, and last night they clearly didn't have good judgement. But an argument can be made for that no-call.

It was far from the action of the play, for sure. But with all the focus on player safety, that seems like an egregious no call from a league attempting to promote player safety. I am also not convinced that when the QB leaves the pocket (and hasn't crossed the line of scrimmage) that a corner can just completely tackle a receiver. That would mean that on any rollout play, corners could legally tackle every receiver in the field of play.

If they're worried about safety but also trying to legislate more offense, this is a rule they should love to revisit. If you can pass it anytime behind the line of scrimmage, it shouldn't matter whether the QB is in the pocket. Maybe if you're near the LOS and have to decide between pass coverage or run support, but decking a guy in the endzone shouldn't be a question.

His receiving corps is a guy cut by the titans, Walter Powell (who?), a guy who's been retired, a one trick pony track star, and Robert Woods. Probably the worst in the NFL.

You know what tyrod needs? Other than sammy watkins of course, i think he could use a guy that has hands like glue and name is the same as a car company....where could we find one of those?

I gave up on the game after the BS taunting call in the 3rd. The Seahawk was staying in the Bill's face, and what the Bill player did with the ball wasn't that egregious. I've seen much more elaborate first down dances. I guess it's the "using the ball as a prop" BS.
Walt Anderson's crew needs to be suspended.

They're allowing blows to the head all over the field (legal, apparently) but the league is worried about PATs.
(I would like to apologize for my comments in several other threads, I assumed since it was the NFL that no one was watching and didn't see this thread until this morning.)

Sad part is that any week these officials are assigned a game, they are mandated to put in at least 35 hours of game preparation. Considering the average NFL referee salary is in the neighborhood of $180K a year they damn sure better be putting in the time. My problem with it is that it doesnt sound like its cohesive time working together as a crew, rather its all one off time spent. I am sure it varies by ref and by crew but pretty ridiculous to be that bad if you spend almost 630 hours a year in game preparation, and thats a minimum based on 18 weeks worked which is my understanding of the average between preseason, regular season and post season.

I'm tuned in. Let's go tyrod!
Aside from one overthrown deep ball, tyrod is looking sharp

Too bad this Buffalo defense is... not great
The front and backers are pretty good. But that secondary, unreliable to mediocre at best.
Graham is indeed a boss.
Tyrod's first play was enough to get me the win in fantasy.
I needed Seattle's D/ST and RB to both go ham...needless to say, my streak is over.
Just wait, if the Bills lose this game, somehow they will blame Tyrod when their defense is essentially Swiss cheese.
Went to the buffalo-patriots game last week and the fans around me were very aware that the WR and D suck and it isn't Tyrod. They were big fans of him
Glad to hear that because a lot of articles and stuff I see online seems negative.
I can admire Mccoy now that he isn't terrorizing my Cowboys.
Teller is our Incognito
I would think the comparison ends at the "plays to the echo of the whistle" aspect.
I think this is a game and instance where TOP doesn't statically matter because the defense for the Bills only had 1 successful stop.
Love seeing all the Hokies highlights on national TV.
Crazy. Tyrod gets sacked, then Russ.
I cannot believe that wasn't a 15 yard penalty and then they said the kicker couldn't kick??? What the hell?
Horrific officiating.
And then they stood over the ball, forcing the delay of game.
That was straight up bullshit officiating.

Tyrod having flashbacks from the game against Stanford.
My boy Tyrod
Hoping for a game winning drive from Tyrod here.
Tripping penalty on 3rd and 10 might be the game killer if Bills D can't get a stop.
Looks like we've got one more shot!

Time for clutch Tyrod.
HOLY TYROD
3rd and 21, incredible escape and strike! Let's finish this drive!
Brothers and Sisters, TT is straight BALL-LINGINGING right now
Put yer lid back on, buddy. Sorry for the jinx.

Flashbacks to Nebraska. Didn't end the same way unfortunately. Tyrod is the only reason the Bills contend though. Everyone knows it.
Aww man. Really wish he would've pulled it off. Played amazing though!

Earl Thomas got away with big time contact in the end zone on Woods to disrupt that timing. That's an easy flag, no call.
I felt like I just watched the Hokies lose on that last drive. Good to know the depth of my love for Tyrod has not wavered in the slightest.
Same
It's a tough situation for him with that organization and Ryan, plus the injuries.
His receiving corps is a guy cut by the titans, Walter Powell (who?), a guy who's been retired, a one trick pony track star, and Robert Woods. Probably the worst in the NFL.

Guys, let's face it. The NFL just can't afford to have full time officials. /s

At least Tyrod won his rematch with Andrew Luck last year.
