I am by no means a football expert, but 3 things appear very obvious to me:
1) Evans looks horrible and if we want to even make this game competitive, he needs to be benched at half
2) THEY ARE GOING TO RUN THE QB POWER!!!! YOU know....the play every single team runs against us constantly. YOU HAVE TO STOP SELLING OUT ON THE DIVE, BUD.
3) It is inexcusable to be 10 games into a season and not have a Center who can consistently snap the ball. This has been an issue all season. Vice as OL coach is starting to give me some serious concern.
I think the poor snap is that Gallo or Evans were on the wrong play.
I just wonder if Evans has been playing hurt, and as a result, doesn't want to be in a position to get hit when he's not braced for it (i.e. when he's exposed while throwing). His feet are so antsy, and he seems to tuck it if his first read is covered.

My expectations for this season were about where we are now. In the contest for the Coastal but dropping 2-3 games to bad teams.
I felt those expectations were a bit high, but I've been kind of like this every time I get really hopeful:
7-5, and the way the offense has been playing the last two games, that's still achievable.

The execution on offense has been piss poor today. Bucky has been completely non existent, and Evans has been pretty much terrible throwing the ball. And don't get me started with the inability to run the ball.

Quite honestly, what we are seeing is probably a little more realistic for a new staff. Not saying i like it though. Overall, probably have over achieved a little. Complete team loss today. The all bombed together. All key "leaders" on offense contributed at least one major blow. Evans with 2 INTs, Ford drops the fourth down conversion, Bucky with fumble, Cornelsen with the terrible game plan considering this is the worst secondary in the ACC and we have not but a couple plays tried the medium to long pass to our best receiver, rather we decide our running back should be our deep threat. Special teams with the fumbled kickoff and botched field goal. Defense doesnt get a pass either with the two long touchdown runs as well as the numerous key plays where they failed to prevent GT from converting. Gave up third and long conversions on at least two of the field goals. Fuente failed again to have his team ready to play. He let them buy into the hype of being ranked 14th, sipping Koolaid and once again we look like a high school team flailing around the field against a college team.

I would like to see the conference reorganize and create a little more parity between the divisions. The Atlantic is so weak overall - year in year out - that the conference playoff is a joke.
