Congratulations to Kevin Jones on his new position at VT. For those of you wondering what was next for him after transitioning out of the Athletic Department:
From VT News, 11/16/2016:
Kevin Jones named Business Diversity Center director
In his part-time role, Jones will be responsible for the strategic focus of the center and work with other faculty to determine programming and needed financial resources.
The center seeks to contribute to greater understanding of the impact of diversity and multiculturalism on individual effectiveness and corporate competitiveness.
Jones will serve on relevant departmental, college, and university committees and advise affiliated student organizations as they coordinate diversity and inclusion programs, including the annual Pamplin Student Diversity Conference and Case Competition.
He will also teach a course, Design Thinking, next spring.

Congrats to KJ! Doing great things for us at Virginia Tech.
I took a Design Thinking course last year - very interesting and progressive perspective. Glad to see that on the docket for VT.
Didn't he just leave like a month or two ago?
Yup
I didn't begin following Tech sports until 2004 I was never able to experience KJ while he was actually playing for Tech. Obviously the numbers and highlights speak for themselves, but it would have been cool to witness it while it was happening.
It was. I may have only been 13 or so and just started grasping an understanding of football, but The Untouchables were amazing. It seemed like there was nothing one or the other couldn't do. It's a damn shame neither could stay healthy in the pros.
