OK so with our ticket punched to the ACCCG.... Would you rather... Good guys win and thus effectively pull the ACC out of the payoff picture. Or... Not... And Clemson gets to hold the torch for the conference?

I think a better would you rather would be: lose to UVA but upset Clemson in the championship, or beat UVA and get completely embarrassed by Clemson?

Of course I want to win the ACC, and then win the Orange Bowl. The more interesting question to me is would people rather win the ACC championship and lose the Orange Bowl or lose the ACC championship and win whatever bowl we go to.

I don't give a shit about how well our conference does in the playoff or bowls in general. Those are the teams we compete with most in recruiting.

I always pull for the ACC, but I pull for VT first. In fact, the only reason I'm pulling for the ACC is for the VT payout to be higher.

So in this case, Go VT, and let the chips fall where they may.

The better "would you rather" is:

For those traveling to the ACCCG and bowl game, if the Orange Bowl is off the table, would you rather go to the Citrus/RAB (back to Orlando) or a lesser bowl not in Orlando (e.g. Taxslayer/Belk)?

I'm going to be FL for bowl season, and I'm hoping for the Citrus or RAB if Orange is off the table. I'm not going to the ACCCG though. Do any Hokies doing both have a preference?

I don't care in Dabo wins a National Title. I don't care if Desean Watson gets a seat in NYC for the Heisman presentation. It would be nice to start next season as ACC Champs coming off a 10 win season, (maybe even 11 if they win a marquee game in the Orange Bowl).

We have had a good season, why not hope for a great season too.
