The team has had that attitude all year. Ford is Bucky and Cam's biggest fan. Hope this culture persists next year.
Settle is a bad, bad DUDE. I'm so glad he is on our team. We slanted hard away from the play, their tackle sealed the end and their pulling guard still got to the outside, 1on1 against Motu, and then BAM Settle lays him out. Coming from the far side, that is some awareness to see the play, strength to throw the block off him and then some quickness to scrape across and lay Smoke out.

It's not as clear on this one, but from one of the other replay angles (the wide field shot) on the Bucky touchdown, you can see the safety playing centerfield cheating towards Ford, then try and turn around once he realized where the ball was going and BANANA PEEL. Hoos falling down, falling off of horses...never gets old!

I said it watching the game, but seeing the gif really highlights just how strong Evans arm is. He seemingly doesn't put very much effort into sailing the ball 48 yds in the air. Reminds me of how Vick would just sort of flick his wrist and the ball would fly out of the stadium and all the way to Christiansburg.
I think Bucky's legs stop working when his arms go up for a catch. If they are pumping, he's running. Then hands up for the ball & legs stop, catch ball, fall down.
Clearly he was pushing off. Where's the flag?

You should let that clip run a bit longer. The MIami player recognizes the jackassery of the move he was doing, waits for him to get up, and then destroys him.
I know Ford and Hodges get a lot of love but Cam is a nightmare in the open field. I feel like he breaks ankles almost every time he touches the ball.
I think I remember French saying somewhere that he believes Cam will do better in the NFL than Isaiah and Bucky.
I'm not sure I agree with this - at least with regard to Ford. But it also wouldn't shock me if it turned out that way.
Reminds me a lot of another highly touted receiving corp: Nuke Hopkins and Sammy Watkins. Watkins got a lot more publicity in college (not just for smoking weed) than Hopkins. But after watching the Peach Bowl against LSU and how Hopkins was destroying their defense, you could see flashes of a grittier and fiercer WR than Watkins was capable of. Flash forward to the NFL and (injuries aside) Hopkins is better than Watkins.
I love Ford's game, he is so smooth and technical, but Cam has a little bit of nasty to his game. Will see next year if he can be THE MAN.
It will be interesting to watch, their games seem so different. Ford is a tactician who runs crisp routes, can read a defense, and has elite hand while CAM seems to rely more on his raw athleticism in the open field. But that's just me and I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Cam has been our best run-after-the-catch receiver the whole time he's been here.

With those two guys, we don't really need to take the top off of a defense as much as we need to get the ball in their hands with just a little space. They can handle it from there.
Did anyone else notice the time where UVA punted and the ball started rolling back to their own LOS? There were at least 4 UVA players watching the ball roll in the wrong direction and they all waited for it to stop rolling before downing the ball..They looked so proud until they realized they watched it roll 4-5 yards in the wrong direction.

I thought that Evans was going to get a penalty when he ran onto the field without a helmet on Motley's TD pass. UGA got burned for exactly that issue, when they hit the long TD to take the lead vs UT with less than a min left in the game. Not that we were at risk of giving up a hail mary to lose the game, at that point.
I thought it awesome that Evans saw Sam hit/get-hit by three defenders and through his hands up, KNOWING it was that reason that it was going to be a TD with a couple of yards to go...
I laughed so hard when I saw that Adonis play live. That guy could have possibly gotten penalized for that, but because that pathetic shove somehow recoiled back on him, I think the ref let him just wallow in his embarrassment.
