So we now have winning steaks against Nebraska in football, men's basketball, and women's basketball...

Nice

Used to grab Winning Steaks from West End after home games during my tenure down in Blacksburg. Great way to celebrate honestly.

Omaha is known for beef and Payton Manning's favorite Turrets word

I saw the typo, and left it... because it was too good

medium rare good?

Onward and upward

Yeah, but those st(r)eaks are going to be leaving Nebraska feeling a little blue.

"Exit light..."

Like a Ruth's Chris 20oz medium rare filet kind of good

Well done with ketchup!!

Get out of here, Dabo Swinney.

Trigger warning, unpopular opinion ahead: Give me a great hamburger over a great steak any day of the week.

RIP Mikes Grill. :(

I agree, steaks are overrated. The pig is the superior meat source. BBQ pork or a good pork chop or tenderloin can take the place of steak on my plate anyday. On top of that you get the bacon and pork belly. oooooooh baby

It was an impressive display down the stretch. Lots of steals and good defense. Also saw where a freshmen PG Is leaving the team and transferring.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

Who?

Genesis Parker

I have a close friend who is friends with her. I'll try and find out why.

Major Factors:

Chanette Hicks seems like she will have the PG position locked down for the next few years along with the fact that Kenny Brooks has a commitment from Aisha Sheppard, the #34 player in the country, #10 Guard coming in next season.

Going to be tough for Parker to find the floor, and also consider, she was recruited and committed to Wolff, not Brooks, so that could also be in play. She wont have a problem finding a new home. She had offers from at least six other Division I programs.

Did you find out why?

A point differential to what the men's team was down to Michigan (39-30) at the half...

I'll take a win all the time, but a win over the B1G is always nice. Heck of a job by Brooks so far!

Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Wrestling, and Men's Soccer are all doing amazingly well. It's a great year to be a Hokie!

Edit: It's always great to be a Hokie, but it's really awesome when we're winning!

Anyone have any idea what is going on with Rachel Camp? I know she is a Wolff holdover but she hasn't played a minute so far this season and I don't see any mention of an injury or the intent to redshirt. She went from budding star as a freshman to Hicks backup last season, dropping from 11 PPG to 5 PPG, and now she hasnt played a minute. Camp though was very much like Tyrone. Some times you get nothing, other nights she would lead all scorers including a 29 point explosion over Elon in the WNIT last year.

Trying to gauge the impact this season of Parker leaving. Parker was averaging about 11 minutes per contest. Parker's name has been removed from the roster posted by Hokiesports.com so I would take that as confirmation.

I expect it will mean a few more minutes each for coach's daughter Kendyl Brooks as well as Diandra Darosa and Kaela Kinder to account for the 11 minutes Parker was getting.
