One thing I learned from this game...

Joel Caleb must be an AWFUL receiver if he got beat out by these guys for a job.

Caleb was suspended for the Bama game. He's probably going to be an RB anyway, was just taking reps at WR to explore options.

"Exit light..."

Right...I knew Caleb was suspended and was moved to RB. That was my point. If he was moved to RB because he couldn't beat out the current WR set, he must have looked really bad in practice at WR.

Leonard. Duh.

They wanted him at WR because of the depth at RB, with Edmunds, JC Coleman, Mangus, and Gregory but Gregory and Coleman got injured which immediately opened up a spot that needed to be filled. He was moved to WR because Loeffler is trying to get as many play makers on the field as possible but moved him to RB after the injuries hit. The minute he moved to RB he looked fluid and they really like him so I would expect to see Mangus move back to WR possibly and let Caleb be the third back. Either way it will be interesting to see what happens.

I'm not so sure that having him in the Bama game would've made a big difference, anyways. But for ACC play, I really like having another large, athletic tailback.

I know both of you guys are probably right, my post is just another sarcastic jab at our wide receiver play in the game.

My biggest fear is that D.J. Coles ends up being Dyrell Roberts Part II.

Leonard. Duh.

My fear is Dj coles is an imitaton of Marcus Davis and Knowles is an imitation of Dyrell Roberts...

Good athlete nontheless, but he played QB in HS and RB seems to be a more natural fit for him since he's used to having the ball in his hands almost every play.

That's exactly why the coaches thought he'd be better-suited for HB.
