Apparently the losses to programs like Duke, NC State, and Navy took their toll this year, and now there's unrest in the land of Rudy. So what do we say when the god of death comes calling? So how exactly do the masses at Golden Dome U respond when they're unhappy? That's right, take out full page ads in the paper for everyone to enjoy!
Now is the time when we all point and laugh....

Stanford and Duke football completely eviscerates ND's argument that "academic standards" are the reason why they're not successful...which makes it even funnier that UVa tries to use the same argument when they're not as prestigious academically or as successful on the field
The ad actually kind of makes this point, saying that Stanford has been more successful over the last 7 years despite a number of reasons, one of which being Stanford's higher academic standard for admission.
I just hope we never become this fanbase.
this may be one of the greatest gifs of all time
Holy Touchdown Jesus! ND alumni apparently soak their dentures in Dead Sea water and season their prunes with this shipment of salt.
Seriously, their high horses rival Genghis Khan's.
Fuck Brian Kelly. They are paying a karma fine.
They definitely deserve better than Brian effing Kelly, but I won't hate on them anymore after going up to South Bend to watch our Hokies play. That was the best game day experience ever even if the weather sucked.
Sorry but a few freezing cold Indiana folks greeting me with "welcome to South Bend" isn't remotely enough in my mind to offset the millions of insufferable fans across the country, a century of unwarranted media hype & mythology, and the continued intransigence, arrogance and expectation of special treatment of and by the ND athletic administration.
And IMO it was a completely underwhelming gameday experience - other than VT rising from the dead and jamming it's foot on ND's throat.
Suck on it ND.
Can I ask why? I was underwhelmed by the fan experience at the stadium. I enjoyed the historical nature of the campus and stadium but what else?
Anytime you run out of coffee and hot chocolate (and hot dogs) BEFORE halftime at multiple concession stands in a stadium featuring subarctic weather, that immediately knocks down the gameday experience several points.
The numerous bratwurst stands outside of the stadium was a nice touch, but the tiny scoreboard without a video screen was another gameday flaw, as were the same wooden plank benches that fans sat on to watch Knute Rockne.
Ehh... Not to take anything away from their fans who actually go to the games, but their national fanbase is incredibly insufferable.
I thoroughly enjoyed going to that game, in part because the weather was exactly what I thought South Bend should be in late November. Blustery, windy, a little snowy. A+ I thought the fans and campus were extremely welcoming, too.
I ran into an ND alum at a tailgate and they said they weren't really happy with Brian Kelly, but when I asked them who they would replace him with, they suggested Les Miles. I said nah stick with Kelly for this year.
Just imagine what they could do if they had a decent athletics budget and/or didn't have to revenue share their football media income?
And if they could get a little media attention?
I have no problem will Kelly, we are 2-0 against him
Cry Me a Rudy !! All I can say...
I find it funny that he thinks Notre Dame is ridiculed because people don't like Brian Kelly. Notre Dame is ridiculed because people don't like Notre Dame.
