Tech is having a Student-For-A-Game promotion. $10 tickets, seats in the student section, and all the trimmings. Head out, catch a game, and pretend your an undergrad once again (if the basketball team was good when you were an undergrad)!

This sounds like a blast if enough people actually went through with it, but it has the potential to be really sad if not enough people show up.
Back in the day, basketball games were a ton of fun to go to. The venue is small enough to see your friends at halftime, as everyone used to promenade around the hall, grabbing the fresh popcorn or milkshake as you went 'round, and the atmosphere was always enjoyable to experience. Proximity to the 'burg is so helpful, especially for the "lesser lights" on the schedule, but all of the games are fun if you just get out and go. There are enough locals to make a decent showing if they'll participate, and with the way this team is playing, I hope they do.

Sadly I cant due to work and being out of town. But thank the basketball gods for Hokieshare. I was able to donate my tickets to someone who will use them and it was super easy.
LeDay is even more electric in person than on television. So much fun watching him vs Ole Miss
Amen. After he took that charge in the second half, ZLD ran all the way down the court screaming his lungs out. It reminded me a lot of how the football team runs to the crowd after a kickoff to get everyone pumped up
