In USA Today's new 3 round mock draft they predict that Ford will go to Buffalo in the second. Personally I am excited if this were to happen. The Bills would definitely be my favorite NFL team considering how the Vikes have been playing this year. Hopefully Tyrod can finish the year out well so Bills' fans will stay confident in the offseason. A three headed Bills monster with Tyrod at QB, Isaiah at WR, and Logan Thomas at TE would be pretty exciting. They also have Bucky going to Miami.

WR is not the problem in Buffalo. They need OL, and they need it bad. Probably the only team in the NFL that needs OL more than Buffalo is Carolina.
Umm, have you watched the Vikings play? We've had 11 OL injuries and started guys who were on their couch without a job the week before.
But also, WR is definitely one of the problems in Buffalo. This year they have yet to have a healthy Sammy, who has missed most of the year, Justin Hunter who was waived by the Titans, and Robert Woods, who is yet to breakout in the NFL and has also struggled with injuries, Marquise Goodwin, who even at Texas was never an elite receiver and was always more a track guy than a true wideout, and a few other guys not even worth mentioning because you've probably never heard of them. They are easily a bottom 3 WR corps in the NFL.

There are plenty of reasons, but just to name a few ... There's no guarantee they'd get drafted higher in 2018 than 2017. They could get injured and hurt their draft stock. They start getting paid to play. They would be 1 year closer to their 2nd contract than if they had stayed (which is where the really big money is waiting).
If Ford is going pro, I would love to see him go to a super bowl contending team such as NE or DAL.
