I get that it's in honor of one of their past players, but a QB wearing #98 for the rest of his career? That's gonna be really strange to see every Saturday.

I like that they do it a lot. It is odd seeing that but I think its great. My qb in NCAA 14 wears 88
So many pom-poms. I want to vomit. Does anyone else hate those as much as I do? Every time I found one on my seat I threw it on the ground. We are Virginia Tech. We don't need silly bits of colored plastic attached to a stick to cheer on our team. That type of support is reserved for intellectually inferior schools (thinking SEC, but Michigan... come on!) My keys, my voice, and my heart will do just fine.
Something(s) kinda weird: ESPN calling Eminem by his actual name and Eminem's expression while he was on camera.
Lol, the whole time he was on, it was real strange. May have been on drunk, or on drugs ha...
Musberger said something along the lines of, 'Oh, we came to the game but didn't expect to be visited by Eminem!' Sounds to me like Eminem was in the stadium and asked to be on. He did not appear to be appreciated. Herbie was an awkward third wheel in the 'Summeral - Madden - Michaels - Musberger - Eminem' love scene.
I tuned in late, so I was totally wondering about this, since I knew Gardner usually wears 12. At least this explains it
Glad I could help
