Just finished the first episode. Starting 2nd. Crazy good thus far.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

Checked out episode 1 last night. Definitely mysterious and leaves you
wondering what'll happen next.

I'm all finished. Need to post a spoilers post.

What does OA stand for

That would give away almost the whole season. So you will need to find that one out on your own.

Obviously Awful

Gahhh I just finished. Is there a spoilers thread yet?!

I really liked it up to the last episode. I just don't like how ambiguous the ending is. It just seemed like the writers didn't know how exactly to end it.

Agreed. For as great as I thought the season leading up to the finale was, the last episode was underwhelming and frustrating to say the least.

I read online that it's setting up for season 2

Just finished the first episode. Well Im stuck on it. Sorry to hear about the final episode. They are doing the same thing that was done for Designated Survivor, sounds like.

I watched and enjoyed this series, but it's nowhere near the caliber of "Westworld", which I thought was spectacular. Westworld was tightly woven with several plot lines and superb acting from a pretty strong cast.

OA was closer to a "Stranger Things", I'd say, with one primary mystery/plot line. I did enjoy the outstanding performance of Phylis Smith (from The Office).

Yeah I don't think i'd compare it to Westworld, but still plenty of plot twists / uncharted territory to enjoy.

Homer?

"Vick, dashing back . . . here he comes again . . . Electrifying . . . and have you ever seen anything like this?"

Ehhh I enjoyed it but was slightly underwhelmed. I think there was a lot of potential but in an effort to be artsy fartsy they missed out on a lot of it. It started strong and then got very slow through the middle of the season. The ending left a lot open but it was nice to see something finally really happen.

Using /s is for cowards.

My real question is where did they poop / pee for seven years? I didn't see a bathroom in that room at all.

Had to have been the little creek thing. ?!

"Vick, dashing back . . . here he comes again . . . Electrifying . . . and have you ever seen anything like this?"

Yeah pretty sure it was the creek.

That seems unsanitary, it's not like it's a river. That water would be unsanitary, everyone would get sick within a few months I assume.

The Doctor stated early on that it was a fresh water underground stream in which he build his lab around. Plus realistically being in that type of lighting for that long would do terrible things to your eyes. I'm sure water was the least of their concern.

OK it picked up in ep 5. Until then it is was so slow! But Brit is not hard to look at.

Anyone watch the travelers yet?

Definitely interesting! Left me with a ton of questions in a good way

Final episode left to go. Man that is one slow contractor building the house! And who dresses OA?

Man that is one slow contractor building the house!

I thought this was addressed in the show. The developer went bankrupt when the economy took a turn, thus leaving that house uncompleted and the majority of the rest of the development with empty lots.

They did and very common in real life.

Awesome ending. of course they leave you hanging by a thread. Dammit!

I'm not entirely sure what I just saw....

Captivating, but....I'm just left thinking "um....huh?"

It got very slow there in the middle, but I found the ending to be a really excellent viewing experience

Mrs. 757 and I started watching this one Friday night, and finished it Saturday night..loved the show, but I feel like I was left with more questions than answers at the end!

Now finish up them taters; I'm gonna go fondle my sweaters.

I believe that's the point! Look for season two at some point!

If you liked WestWorld this is just as good

So I just started and finished Westworld this weekend. About a week after finishing The OA. And I thought Westworld was so much better. OA was worth the watch, but Westworld is crazyyyyyyy

Yea I liked the OA, but I thought Westworld was way better too.

TBF Westworld has a $100M pricetag. I'm guessing the OA was max 1/10th of that.
