Seth Allen Stuck the Landing

Allen tied for a Hokies team high 17 points against the Yellow Jackets, and flashed some gymnasts moves in the process.

Seth Allen's game winning layup propelled Virginia Tech over Georgia Tech 62-61, but the redshirt senior guard's most impressive play on Wednesday night happened off of the court.

Seth Allen, parkour champion.

The announcer really made it. His call on LeDay's freethrow was unreal.

His call on LeDay's freethrow was unreal.

"It's really quiet in here."

"LeDay for the 15 foot putt."

Made me chuckle

Now finish up them taters; I'm gonna go fondle my sweaters.

I actually enjoy the TV calls when its that guy and Capel. And Cassell was funeral silent during the late game free throws.

When I played high school ball, I always thought it was much harder to make FTs whenever it was deathly silent in the gym than when there was noise. Maybe that's just me. But you are right, super quiet down the stretch.

I did laugh a little bit too when the other guy commented on Capel's quality UNC education for getting the trivia question right.

dude said he loved calling games there. upvote. and that capel went to my high school. double upvote.

"...sticks and stones may break my bones but I'm gonna kick you repeatedly in the balls Gardoki!"

but he didn't shove someone out of his chair on the way out of bounds. I thought it was impossible to have a hustle play like this without knocking an innocent bystander on his ass?

You are such a jerk for saying that! Man the fans really need to cut it out with pointing out these things that are done, they're the sole reason this problem exists. /s /ESPN

I think the criticism is unfair. I mean it's not like he brought it on himself...oh wait.

That low angle

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

What was Capel trying to do when he reached out and touched Allen's shin? good thing he didn't grab on or anything, would have been a nasty landing

Seth Allen is so cool

That woman's reaction. Also priceless.

Still looking for one that says "Hardcore Parkour!" that isn't a duplicate scene

"That move was slicker than a peeled onion in a bowl of snot." -Mike Burnop

I'll just say... I'm happy there was no injury.

Anyone else remember when Vick came back from the first flip injury, and did another flip?

I think the process of me becoming old has begun. When I saw that play live, instead of being "Holy shit! That was awesome! *chugs beer* I was like "Omg. That could have been so bad. My heart just stopped. No one ever do that again. *chugs beer to calm nerves*"

I'm officially old, but when I saw that play, the "Holy Shit! That was awesome!" response was mine. Too late for me to still be drinking, but I never even considered that there could've been a tragic ending. Perhaps it was because of all the drinking I'd already done. But with the replays, it just looks like Seth had it handled, seemed natural, and, well, it all worked out alright, didn't it? He could've done a better job getting the ball back in play before going Olympic, but I guess that's nitpicking. A memorable moment, though.

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

Seth should have bowed in triumph before going back to the court!

This ranked at least a 12; smooth, calm, and collected as if it were no big deal.

glad there was an empty seat for him to jump into.
