Andre Davis and Tyrod to Danny

yup

Absolutely. That 3rd quarter was insane. How about the reverse...Vick to Suggs, Suggs to Davis. That's a lot of talent.

Agreed, it had to be those 2.

Roscoe and Logan.

In the larger picture, Tyrod to Danny was in a non conference game. Logan's run had far more impact in his best game ever as a Hokie. And it kept us from going 0-2 in the ACC to start that season. Tyrod to Danny is unforgettable as any play but it wasn't a scoring play. I know it set up a scoring play, but Logan's run clinched an ACC win against a rival in conference play.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

I always viewed that Nebraska game as Tyrod's turning point. Up until that point, he had not proved himself as a consistent passer, and from that point on in that 2009 season, he really turned it up.

And it kept us from going 0-2 in the ACC to start that season.

Clemson was our ACC opener that year? I don't know why I thought the regular season matchup was later than it was...

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

Man. Tough calls. I understand that we get to look at those plays in context now. But having sat in Lane stadium for almost every home game for the last 27 years, I can say that I was in the stadium for all 4 of these plays.
Give it to me Roscoe was immortalized by the radio call.
The crowd hype level really made the Logan TD run special. The ACC implications helped amplify the atmosphere, but it was not my favorite moment by a long shot.
That WVU game was electric. Not only did Davis go off, but I remember the crowd reaction when the Whammy Ward block happened, I actually didn't even care that we scored. That hit ejected the WVUs guy's soul from his body.
Tyrod to Danny was my personal favorite. Having witnessed Matt f**kning Ryan's come back live, and Donavan McNabb, and Boise State, etc., the 4 seconds that ball was in the air was one of the few times in my life that time has completely stopped.

Bonus play: Another personal favorite play that was not on this list was the punt block TD agianst Indiana where they put 1 second back on the clock in the 1993 Independence Bowl. It was such a crazy sequence. My memory is of hotdogs and beer flying up in the air and raining down around me. Good times!

Voting for the worst opponent players, games, drives, plays, teams, conferences, or what have you would be a great series of polls to participate in.

Had to go with "Give it to me Roscoe", Andre Davis' third quarter was great, but we're voting on top plays, not top series of plays, or top quarters...semantics.

Went with Tyrod to Coale, that one was a really tough call

Now finish up them taters; I'm gonna go fondle my sweaters.

Actually I think voting for top quarters, halves, games, drives, players, runs, catches, interceptions, or what have you would be a great series of polls to participate in.

Tyrod to Coale should win it all, really. Remember that game well... Or at least the end of it. Was at the bar with the alumni chapter down here, and I want to say the crowd had dwindled from about 50 to 5 before that play happened. Those of us who stuck around went delirious on that play and the ensuing TD. Still remember the look on my friends faces who left early when I came back and told them we won.

I was actually visiting blacksburg for that game, but couldn't score a ticket. Watched it at a place down main street near where the old middle school used to be. Heard the stadium erupt even as we were going crazy in my friend's living room. Good times.

It was always definitely cool to hear the crowd erupt on tv and then through the window 3 seconds later.

Roscoe and Tyrod to Coale. I was at the Davis PR game but is there a call more embedded into VT lore than "...give it to me Roscoe..." Tyrod to Coale was a big out of conference game against Suh and the Huskers when Suh was getting Heisman buzz. I think that was more significant nationally than Logan's run, even though beating Miami means more to me as a fan.

Just brutal voting all around though.

I think the Andre Davis third quarter has an unfair advantage here, those are tremendous plays but why not single it down to one? That's like having to fight mma with one hand behind your back while the opponent can use both. I vote the punt return with the huuuggggeee block!

Give it to me Roscoe! - from start to finish, that Saturday was one of the greatest days of my life, let alone as a student. Kegs and eggs started at 7:30 AM, to walking back to Collegiate Suites after partying in the streets downtown for the win. And that moment was one of the best parts, the proverbial "Hey, we might win this thing" moment. Lane was loud before that, but the place was nuts for the rest of the game after that too

Logan's QB Keeper - Great capper to a great game. Although I love Tyrod to Danny was amazing (funny aside, that game was the first stop during my bachelor party, watching at a sports bar with all my boys and set the day off right), Logan's play was a much bigger moment in terms of actually scoring, as well as propelling us forward during that Sugar Bowl season.

SHITTTTT. this is tough.

"Now Miami wants to talk about it." *Cue Enter Sandman*

Logan vs Tyrod is the final. Winner of that wins it all.
