The Hokies baseball team coasted to an 11-3 win Friday afternoon at USC Upstate. Sam Fragale led the charge going 5-5 3 HR, 3B, 2B, 7 RBI. Joe Freiday and Rahiem Cooper also homered and Nick Anderson and Stevie Mangrum collected their first RBI of the season. On the mound, Packy Naughton started and tossed 4.0 innings, giving up 1 run on 4 hits. He struck out 6 and walked 4. Nick Anderson (1-0) picked up the win, throwing 2.2 scoreless innings relief. Graham Seitz made his first appearance on the mound for the Hokies in the 9th, giving up 1 hit but no runs. The Spartans blew through their bullpen, throwing 9 pitchers in the blowout. Brian Boocock (0-1) took the loss, giving up 3 runs in only 1 inning of work. This is a great start for the Hokies, who went a rough 19-36 (6-24) last season. They play again this afternoon at 1 pm. So, would that be USC Jr. Jr.?
It's the baby USC that you can't hate because it's so little
This is on the first page of Google images if you Google their school. Is it just me or does their mascot look like he is doing some unethical things on that computer?

(captions welcome :) )
He's hacking into ncaa basketball committee selection database to be sure they don't play MTSU again...
He has so many holes in his teeth...brush your teeth, man!
I'm still disappointed Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Changed their name.
This year's team has some guys that have seasoned a couple years. They should do better this year than last. Can't wait to sit on the grass in English n watch a game. Go hokies! Itd be sweet If there's a home game the next couple days, the weathers gonna be glorious!
Stupid home runs ruining Sam's chance at a cycle...
Did they win the second?
Edit: They did, 9-8, closer than it should have been.
sloppy play
Tech up 5-2 at the 7th inning stretch. A couple of solo homers for the Hokies have opened it up a bit, but the game's been kept close by a couple of questionable interference calls at the plate.
