Fresh off a Virginia Tech visit, Nasir Peoples announced his verbal commitment to the Hokies.
"I would like to thank my family for guiding and supporting me," he tweeted. "I want to thank all of my coaches from weight and CYO football. Also a special thanks to my high school coach Steve Devlin and the entire staff of Archbishop Wood. I am humbled and grateful to the college coaches that have shown interest in me. The 6-0, 185 pound Archbishop Wood HS (Warminster, PA) product was in Blacksburg the past weekend, and on Wednesday night he opted for the Hokies over reported Power Five offers from Pittsburgh, Boston College, and Rutgers. He is currently unranked in the 247Sports Composite. Peoples figures to slot in at safety for the Hokies.
