Again, Kyle Chung is with the first offensive line at right guard. Most of the plays shown are slow motion shots of some of the same drill work we shared via Snapchat. However, this video does include one clip of Jackson and one clip of Hooker throwing the ball.

oof, my ankles hurt for Divine...
I watched that cut Cam made a couple of times. He makes it with his off foot. That takes extraordinary strength and agility. So he cut left by planting his left foot. Seriously, how do he do that?
I could do without the fade at the edges of the screen. Makes me feel like I'm missing things.
"If you want to feel like you're getting the whole experience, contact the Hokie Club today."
And join TKP.
Great seeing Lawson get some reps.
OK, lets get this all out of the way:
1) Haven't seen Drew Harris yet, any word on when he might taking the field?
2) I think I saw a TE throwing a football and working with the QB's.
3) I think I saw a QB working with the TE's.
Am I missing anything here?
Laying down the Law, son!
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Before you make a Lawson joke, go here and read through the whole list.
Hopefully at that point you'll realize there are a whole host of running jokes that are criminally underutilized and that you can do a lot better than yet another Lawson joke.
Although, with all that competition, Lawson jokes might just transfer to get more playing time.
Please let the Lawson jokes transfer somewhere else.
Only if they hire Max Warner first.

Sucking the fun out of TKP - one post at a time...
What kind of a crap show are we running??!! These kids already have jersey numbers, helmet stripes and logos...YOU GOTTA EARN IT PAWWWLLL!!!!
Side note-Timmy needs a bigger jersey.
I heard they even announced the VT Spring Festival will have an actual scrimmage game. These kids gets everything for free!
I don't even see a basketball hoop out there.
It's like we found slow motion cameras early in the offseason and now can't stop using it. I get it, it looks cool, but damn, switch some things up every now and then and don't overdo it
STAR WIPE!
Why have hamburger when you can have steak?
Faster motion cameras? I know just the guy for the job.
Won't work. UVA bought the rights to his music.
Interesting that there were refs on the sideline around 1:10. I figured we didn't use refs until live scrimages a la spring game.
It's spring training for everyone, including officials.
That pass from Hooker.
From reading some scuttlebutt over on 247, it sounds like Hooker has been impressive and is picking things up fast. He will be in this competition until the end. Jackson and Bush are also performing very well. We may be more set at the QB position than anyone expected.
Will be interesting for sure. Seems like a we have a good mix as far
as age and talent.
To be fair I feel like we hear this every year during spring and prior to the season actually starting. Everyone is improving, the light is coming on, etc etc etc.
But this year it's different. The lights are REALLY coming on.
Hopefully so, but i'll believe it when I see it against the 'eers.
I will be honest, I assumed we were set at QB with just Jackson and Click. Bush's transfer stats scare me too much for me to want to see him start right now. Way too rattled in actual game play for too many interceptions.
But Jackson was supposedly in the running all last spring/fall before being redshirted. Click has looked good every time I have seen him throw (don't care that he is a walkon).
Jackson was the best looking passer in the spring game last year. IMO, at least. I figured he was the QB of the future when I saw him play last spring. I'm anticipating that he will win the starting job and Hooker will redshirt.
if Jackson wins the starting job it will be hard to displace him and they will only have one year or separation, which would likely mean hooker would transfer. If they view hooker as the qb of the future I'm hoping he doesn't RS and gets some PT this year and we have the real battle next year for the starting spot.
How much separation do they need though? If Jackson is as good as I think he can be he could declare for NFL after his Junior campaign opening the door for Hooker to be the well groomed starter for the next two years.
He could declare after his sophomore year, but I think the odds of him leaving early are slim to none.
Competition does not mean a kid is going to transfer.
Hooker will have every opportunity to compete for the starting job. Just because Jackson may win it this year does not mean he will win the job every year after. Hooker is still a freshman, he needs some time in the weight room, and needs to learn the offense. He could beat Jackson out next year or the year after.
The good thing is that we have talent coming in at the position and a coach known for developing QBs.
True. Not everyone wants to transfer. He would need to sit a year anyway. Plus there is a little thing called injuries....Gotta have depth. You never know.
Agreed, I still think Jackson will end up being our QB. We hear all sorts of encouraging things every year in the offseason, but it's great to hear that our freshmen EEs are jumping right in and playing well, especially Hooker. I think Bush looks like a great athlete, but like you, his stats and film scare me a little bit.
It's as if Fuente and Cornelsen have a system that puts the QB in a position to succeed...
Not sure which day it was but I am pretty sure I saw another snap of Settle fielding a punt, that is alot of moving beef
A lesson in how to reveal as little as possible in 2:16...
