Incoming VT freshmen Dylan Rivers and Zion Debose are on campus today along with a very talented group of 2018 recruiting targets. Debose posted a little sneak peak of the scrimmage on his twitter.

Top running back target Jamal Elliott has tweeted that he will be on campus today.

Wide Receiver/Tight End Hybrid James Mitchell (Union High School in Big Stone Gap, VA) also indicated that he will be in Blacksburg today.

Devon Hunter is also on campus today to help sell these recruits on something special being built in Blacksburg.

Cornerback recruit Rayshad Williams from Memphis...
Coach Fuente called in to one of the local radio shows here in Memphis on Thursday and they talked about his extension. They asked him point blank if Tech seemed like a place where he would set down roots and be another Beamer. He answered pretty carefully and said he never speculates on the future, but that it could be. He mentioned they really liked Blacksburg so far.
After the call the show host predicted that someday he will will a championship with tech. I'll drink to that!

I love this kid's itinerary. Once you see Tech's campus and Hokiestone after visiting NC State's campus with its claustrophobic obsession with red brick, there's no question that you'd rather be a Hokie!
It's the album cover for the Kodak Black (that's a rapper) album that came out last week. I don't know if it's savvy or cheesy, but then again it's not intended for me.
Well in that case, it's savvy and not obviously inferior to ours. (Not better than, ours is slick, but the topicality matters).

Glad to see us recruiting someone from the high school LPD (Lonesome Pine District, for all you non-SWVA folk). This is the conference I played in when in high school. Good football history, but small single A schools (I make no pretense of understanding the current VHSL classification system). The school I played for and most of the other conference schools no longer exist, unfortunately.

Did anyone else see the tweet from Evan Watkins last night at 7:13? (can't embed on phone). It was an injury scoop. It said "this is not what VT needed to see today." It's behind a paywall so I don't know who they were talking about. Has anyone heard anything about an injury?
