After looking through the 247 offer list, and seeing who is listed as "warm" with Coach Wiggins as the primary, it could be a 6'5" WR out of MD. This is of course assuming the tweet is referring to a WR.

Just FYI, our Guidelines do not prohibit you from sharing information that happens to also be available on paywalled sites. If you've got #sauces you can share what you know. If you're simply remaining quiet to honor a desire for the kid to have his moment, I'm all for that. But our prohibitions are only against simply stealing info from behind paywalls. Don't do that. But if you know something by other means, fair game.
Oh I agree and I won't share if I know it comes just from a paywalled site. My #sauce is first hand. I got my hand slapped a few months ago for being too similar to paywalled sites and I didn't even know until I was told afterwards.
Ive been tempted to stop all together since there recent information has been stated other places as well and I want to be respectful of both parties.

Possibly UNC asked him to announce tonight to avoid losing momentum that they would lose should Turner pick VT?

There's a thread on UNCheat's Scout Forum (their most active Message Board site, how sad) that says "Tre Turner to VT" with around 60 replies and nearly 13,000 views. Looks like it was created Wednesday night, can't click on it because it's on the premium side, but take that how you will.

So we just got another CB for Turner to the good guys. This one is from Steve Wiltfong who's Director of Recruiting for 247. The interesting part is he simultaneously put in CBs for Tisdale and Crossen for the good guys.
This is relevant bc both are from Greensboro as well. It'd be great if the announced together as this would blow up our momentum in the #NC2VT campaign.
Mook, Hook, Tre, DJ, Tisdale..... that Greensboro pipeline is nice. Get these boys in the boat and then out hunting the rest of that NC talent.
As of now we have gotten 3 CBs today for Tisdale and are now at 100% with 7 CBs. We are at 7/8 CB predictions for Crossen, with the only one not or us being a UNC prediction from last August. For Turner we have gotten 9 CBs since the mystery Wiggnal on Wednesday and have 13/14 CB predictions.
I'm feeling pretty good about landing them. I doubt they would all announce at the same time, but that would be pretty amazing.
Also, there was this article on 247 outlining the recruiting efforts in NC, it could be a pretty special haul. On top of the 3 mentioned above, we are the leaders for RB Trent Pennix, and in the mix for Henry (doubtful), Hollifield (hopeful), Sandidge, McNeill, Nate Thompson, and Nadir Thompson.
If we could get Hollifield, either McNeill or Sandidge, and either Thompson, along with Turner, Tisdale, Crossen, Pennix, and current commit Joe Kane, we would owe a lot of future Ws to North Carolina. And while we're at it let's just go ahead and flip Payton Wilson once the season starts and he sees how much of a train wreck UNC is. Even just getting those last 5 would be a great haul from a rival recruiting state, but what can I say, I'm greedy.
