Turner's tweet retweeted by KJ Henry. This could be a major domino for NC2VT. Turner is a big time player that a lot of other recruits will be paying attention to. Looking forward to this announcement.
I hope it will have a major domino effect but I wouldn't read too much into that retweet by Henry. I think it's just one blue chip NC recruit supporting another blue chip NC recruit.
Probably, but doesn't hurt. Turner is the kind of recruit that could really turn some heads and jumpstart this class, whether that eventually includes Henry or not.

Heard from some my NC friends that he's cooled a bit on Clemson with Peters and Mascoll committed there. They're still squarely in the picture but it's not the foregone conclusion it once was.

Here's a possible perspective he could have (though I think your statement is equally as valid), it could be that issue (you mentioned) of not feeling prioritized by Clemson or him being told by Clemson that he was a "must have" guy for them, and now feeling that given their offers and commitments that they weren't being completely honest. He might feel his chances are equally tough (or worse) at Bama to play right away, but it might be worth it to him to go with the team that was more straightforward with him. Once again, all speculation, but things like this have happened before. You can feel slighted by things that maybe weren't intended to do so.
Not unreasonable, given the rumored reason why we pulled our offer for Capehart earlier this year.

Juwan Durham made his OV to Blacksburg over the weekend. If he ends up transferring, that would be a HUGE get for Buzz, and a better fit for our needs.

Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred Walker over any other possibility presented, but in terms of team need, down low size at the PF spot is a bigger need for us than an elite guard. With NAW and Bede already in the fold, Walker would have been a surplus add to an already solid position. Durham provides us a piece we're missing on the roster.
Would still rather have the McDs AA, but a 6'11 200 lb Of who was the #50 overall recruit a year ago in a position of need is one hell of a great get of we can pull it off.
Anyway, knowing Turner is big in the AAU basketball scene, I wonder if he has any Buzzketball implications with tomorrow's decision.
Fair points. My thing with the Durham thing, we won't see him for another year. It'll give him time to develop and sure will be a good addition, but I'm in win now mode and I think TKP as a whole really, puts too much stock into Bigs and our need for them. Anywho...Turner will be a massive get.

On field, yes we need him. Tall super athletic guy that can stretch the field. Farley was the only guy from last class that might fill that. Most our guys last year are small shifty guys.
Off field we need him because NC is make or break for us this year and he is a big domino with influence in the area.
