mine creaks every time i open/close it. its like 15 months old
I got mine the summer of 2010. The cheap plastic broke from a 1 foot drop when it was in my backpack a couple years back. The battery life is at about 20 minutes (with the screen brightness all the way down and I'm just surfing the internet). There are times where my mouse just stops working. It's been a fun ride.
I got mine in summer of 2007. It has myriad problems. Where to start...
A year in, the battery life was 10 minutes. Replaced.
1.5 years in, hard drive fried. Replaced.
2 years in, the battery life was 10 minutes. Parents replaced.
2.5 years in, case snapped at edges of keyboard because I was holding it by the front edge. Replaced.
3 years in, the battery life was 10 minutes. Gave up.
3.5 years in, it got a death rattle (fan makes loud growling noises). Mostly useless to take to class.
4 years in, I graduated. I have only used it about 4 times since then.
That is impressive sir. My hard drive died once too, I had a bad motherboard connection (Windows just stopped operating and I was told I had an error). I've given up with my second battery that I got 1.5 years ago. They just don't hold a charge.
That was low, even though I'll be away on duty that weekend anyways!

I just couldn't help it. When I saw the tweet from VT Football about a 12:01 kickoff, my first thought was, "well it's no longer a nooner technically."
