I am extremely blessed and excited to be joining the Virginia Tech Football Family! #ThisIsHome #VT pic.twitter.com/i9cqkedf33β Tommy Reamon Jr. (@CoachReamon) July 11, 2017
Reamon was formerly an entry-level assistant at UVA, and is the son of Michael Vick's high school coach Tommy Reamon.
Reamon's role on the staff has not been announced. As a former ODU player and son of Reamon, Sr., who is well known in the 757, this could help our recruiting in the region.
Welcome aboard Tommy!

I've read on Twitter he will be a quality control analyst.
His analysis on loluva was impressive - "I quit and I'm joining the Hokies!"
What? No way!! That's Max Warner's job...
Shhh don't let Lawson hear about this. He might transfer
Was all-district in his playing days on the Peninsula, Dad has coached on Peninsula and most recently in VA Beach. OG once told me, life was all about connections. Well played Fuente, well played.

Hmm, wonder which 5 star recruiticorn he was coaching?
He was at CNU.
It sounds like his last coaching stint may have been with the Steelers.Edit: U of M (TEs coach) and CNU (RBs coach) after the Steelers.
Lots of 757 and peninsula connections, with his dad currently coaching at Landstown in Va Beach.

Nice pull. Thanks.
Tommy is the PLUG!!!!! his connects go a longgggg way in the 757. I got the sauce! I don't think a lot of people know how much this is going to help in recruiting right away! I know QCs cant technically recruit but his impact will be felt! GREAT GREAT HIRE by FU! and who doesn't like a lil punter swag..... (for those of you who don't know.... lol....this is the run the plug of twice dance)
absolutely seems like a great hire, my only question is can someone translate "PLUG" ? I thought I had it figured out but then read this bit...
lol hes going to be "PLUGGIN" us with some talented kids! (even if it is indirectly)
the plug is above the street level guy getting you the good stuff hes the distribution guy that the street guy gets his supply from, works directly for or is the boss himself... he has the good stuff before its been stepped on chewed up and spit out by 10 other people before it gets to you. (this is my interpretation from urban dictionary And is by no means the views of this site or any of its subsidiaries)
tommys going to have the recruits like.....

So he's ICE T?
I don't know that that is. But I have to follow it with:

Hypnotoad
Powerful stuff...
... must look away.
Does anybody think he could be a place holder for the 10th full time assistant position?
my thought as well.
This is the story I wish more of the VT beat writers would be working on. It's going to happen fast. 128 new coaches will be hired on or around January 9th. That's huge and could have a lot of ripples in smaller programs.
FTFY
And off to the NFL he goes.
you know from now on when i see a thread that originated over a year ago I am just going to steer clear.
That's where I'm going to hide the secret code for fortnite season pass.
you wouldn't
Who wants it? PUBG > Fortnite don't @ me.
Yea why would I want better graphics or anything.
If you've got the rig to run it, I don't see how anyone could argue Fortnite's cartoony graphics and gunplay are better than PUBG's realistic ones... I mean, I appreciate that they were going for a certain art style but PUBG on high/ultra is freakin beautiful.
Xbox
Aside from them both being BR games there really isn't much similarity between the two. They are both good games in their own right. Just my $0.02.
The biggest reason? Fortnite is free.
But seriously, everyone on TKP, just start a new thread in these scenarios. I'd rather not set an expiration date on posts. The original post was almost a year old.
Sorry Joe didn't think many would care about a QC guy leaving, didn't want to clutter things up. Will remember for next time.
I appreciate it. My reasoning is a new thread is going to show up in the tracker anyways, better that it's fresh and not one from way-back-when. New threads are fine and preferable because they can be filtered via the tracker.
At least it's not PSU
Holy crap I didn't see the date on this. I was reading it like "nice awesome hire!! Wait he left like literally the same day for a different job?!?!?"
I did the same thing, didn't realize it was old until I tried to like my own GIF that I didn't remember posting in a thread I didn't remember reading!
At my first job out of college there was a kid that did basically this. He went through all the "pre-hire" training, sat at his desk his first day after being officially hired and then quit at the end of the day to go work for another company. The VP made Narduzzi look like he was sugary.
My wife's company had an intern quit without notice after they offered her a full time position on graduation from VCU citing wanting to take time to decide what she wants to do with her life. I'm not that far removed from college but I don't understand what 'kids these days' are thinking when they burn bridges in their careers right off the bat like this.
were losing a lot of good support staff this off season. guys im afraid are going to be hard to replace. no they aren't program altering changes but its important to have good guys at every spot that bring something to the table. I hope that the cantor and reamon losses don't start to run over into results we can see, as the parts are better than the whole.
