Mark your calendars appropriately Hokie fans, the non-conference schedule has been announced.
The 2018 Campaign will open on November 10th in Blacksburg against Detroit Mercy as part of the 2K Classic and will follow that up Sunday November 12th against the Citadel.
Highlights for the rest of the first half of the season include road trips to Ole Miss and Kentucky and then a match up with Iowa in the acc-big ten challenge.

With the final non-conference regular season game being played on December 28th I'm hopeful that conference play won't begin until the new year rolls over, and hopefully the Marquee matchups won't take place in Blacksburg until after the students return.
That's a good joke. Of course the ACC will screw the non Tobacco Road teams.
I would've disagreed with you in the past, but giving us Duke and Syracuse over winter break last year, and UVA (!!!) over winter break two years ago is just plain stupid.
We have UNC, Duke, Louisville, and UVA all at home this year. I expect at least two of those to be over winter break.
Not that much of an upgrade on SOS to be honest. Perhaps even a downgrade. Kentucky will probably keep it from being that, though. St. Louis will be improved. Ole Miss, Iowa and Providence will be bubble teams. Washington is hot garbage.
Can't afford to lose to anyone other than Kentucky here.
