Awesome trailer. Only suggestion would have been at the end instead of cutting to the VT, if he could have cut to that with the start of enter sandman. I may have run through my computer or the nearest wall.

The design intent of the trailer was a theatrical 'Nolan-esq' feel, which is of course not for everyone. Theatrical score, saturated/darker color grading, and time and speed manipulation that is choreographed with the music and sounds are demonstrated by this.
I tend to not touch Enter Sandman on my trailers, not that I do not like Enter Sandman (I love the song). If I left people with the reaction of wanting more, or wanting something (in this case Sandman) then this is just as good of an emotion as any of the others created, in my opinion (if that makes sense). My whole purpose for me to create something like this, is to pick or prod at others emotions, sometimes good, sometimes bad, and sometimes people have their own interpretations or intent. Much success!

That was banging! I only wish the game footage clips were each about a second longer, they all happened so fast it was tough to find the focal point of the action before the next clip. Switching between regular speed and slo-mo on the stroman return was fantastic. Still might be the best trailer so far.

Dumb question time. At the 3:25 mark we see Stroman making gestures toward his jersey as he enters the end zone. Was this a nod to Beamer and the #25 jersey, or was he just bragging about making it in to the endzone with a clean jersey? The latter, while funny, seems like begging for a celebration penalty.

I was expecting that myself, but his trailers always focus on theatrical score-type music. I don't think Enter Sandman would've fit with the theme.

I remember watching it live and it was pretty clear that he was popping the 25 as a show of respect for CFB/how magical the 25 jersey is.
