Terrell Edmunds is on the post game show with Mike Burnop right now. He said he "caught a full body cramp." He had to go on a full IV. He said he drank "gallons" of water all week and wasn't sure why he cramped. He said he felt fine now.
Good news for a secondary that looks a little deeper at safety.

Oh Thank You Football OverLords.
I was a little scurred he was hurt.
Sounds like he needs more electrolytes not just water.
Terrible, terrible movie...but man the concept behind the movie shook me to my core. That shit could happen. (AND WE'RE LEAVING IT AT THAT. STICK TO SPORTS.)
That movie did a great job of predicting the future
They're gonna grow again !!
Someone in the chem department explain to him about electrolyte dilution.
Why not pound some pedialyte and cut it with water? I've heard its a trick some atheletes do to maintain electrolytes and help with hydration.
works for hangovers...
I feel like the 2nd half of that game was just one long PSA on proper hydration
He was literally carried to the locker room in the second half. Was unlike any cramping situation I've seen.
Clearly you didn't watch the 2014 NBA Finals...
No. No we didn't.
I'm clearly missing the joke here or something
It super weird since it wasn't that hot out. I did hear the that the humidity was 80% there.
It wasn't that hot but if Terrell really drank gallons of water, his electrolyte balance was shit.
On Last Chance U they drank pickle juice to avoid dehydration.
times are tough, imagine chugging pickle juice...barf.
I LOVE pickle juice. Just sayin...
I like my players standing up, so drink the damn pickle juice.
Pickle juice is amazing for hydration but also nasty! Many people only drink it when they are going crazy after running 30+ miles.
I drink it every time the jar get empty.
First, ew. Second, sure that's all you've been drinking this morning?
My last drink with alcohol was Saint Patrick's day.
That explains a lot.
This is the rare time I support your culinary habits. Pickle juice is amazing.
You should try it on Chipotle, that way you can just throw that crap in the trash where it belongs!
Famous Eagles-Cowboys game referred to as the "Pickle Juice Game"

I always save the pickle juice when the jar is empty. I love it, but my palette tends to enjoy vinegar/salt as well
Napoleon had his troops drink pickle brine to keep them from cramping during battles.
According to Fuente in the post game, Peoples is going to be fine as well.
I feel like this is as good a place as any to say:
Possibly the most encouraging takeaway from last night is how bright the future is at safety.
Terrell is a tone-setter. Big hitter and a good tackler. Clearly a team leader. Gets exposed a bit in pass coverage, but he's the guy I want in the back, QB-ing this D.
Reggie Floyd was better than advertised. Way faster than I thought, pretty sound in coverage, and another reliable tackler. I no longer think of him as "the guy who's keeping Devon Hunter's seat warm". He looks like a starter. Looks like he belongs in this defense.
Divine was, well... pretty damned divine. His speed and length jump out immediately. Looks like he's put on some nice muscle. (I feel like he has the frame to add another 10-15 pounds.) VERY sure tackler, and seemed comfortable coming in and playing extended snaps - and in crunch time no less! - when Terrell's cramping took him out. (I seem to recall us having another safety a few years ago who moved over from offense and did okay. Hint: he also wore 17.)
And I thought Hunter looked really good on special teams. I haven't watched the whole game again (yet), but he looked big and fast - and most importantly, like he was ready to play mentally as well as physically.
Our game plan last night (zero blitzing, cushion coverage, content to allow yardage - the old "bend, don't break" deal) put an immense amount of pressure on our safeties. Overall, I thought they really rose up to the challenge.
