Similar to Game roll call, who's gonna go to the Gameday studio Saturday morning? Anyone planning on camping out and being in the Pit? I admit that I want to go and be in the Pit but I currently have no one to go with so I'd be down to camp with fellow TKPers!

I'm probably gonna show up around 5am for the pit. I'm sure there will be plenty of people lined up by then. Gonna attempt to smuggle in lots of coffee.......and bourbon.
I think I wanna be front row? I've heard I have to be there by 1 am so I'm kicking that around.
I did this when gameday came for Basketball. It was hell staying up all night but it was a goddamn blast and something I'll never forget.
2010/2011 season?
I did it with my roommate. Small crowd but Bill Roth brought us pizza. Some of the craziest 24hrs of my life.

I could just be way off here but I went to "the pit" at Bristol and I didn't get there until like 10am and I had no problem. Am I really going to have to be there that early to get in with my sign?
So Hokiesports released that officially, the line for the pit will open at 4 am, and they will start letting people actually into it at 5 am. I've read on reddit and heard from people that have done it before that for a large football driven campus like ours, if we want a front row spot we have to be there super early...like midnight 1 am ish. Tbh I'm skeptical...but this will be my first gameday experience and I've waiting to do this for so long that I dont want to risk not being able to get into the Pit
I'm going to stop by but probably later, so I'll probably be way in the back. Bringing my 3 Clemson grad roommates with me so I'll be getting them drunk all day so they can't even make it to the game.
I won't be getting to Blacksburg until around the time the show starts. I want to go by for a couple of hours to see what it's all about, but I don't know how close I'll get.
Same, except I'll be getting in late (maybe midnight, maybe 2am) and will probably prefer sleep to getting a good spot at Gameday. This'll be my first Gameday, so I'm just planning to check it out and see what's up.
Its a awesome experience no matter how close/far from the set you are, they have speakers so you can hear what everything that they are saying on air.

Planning on heading over to Torg around 3:30. I'm sure people will be there before us, but i can't believe it'll be packed by then
My friends and I changed our minds. We will be napping and then arriving at 1 AM on Saturday morning. Here's to be sleep deprived with lots of caffeine! See you guys there with my distracted boyfriend (aka lee corso) sign! Then I'm tailgating with family all day after.

Us elder folk get excited that Gameday is coming to town, and then sit and watch it in the parking lot like we always do. Should be a blast.

I remember in 05 when they came for GT getting back to WAJ at 4am sat morning from a night of partying and heading over at 5am to sleep for 2.5 hours in line till they let us in. Those were the days...
