Who will stand out?

With the game less than 9 hours away I can't stop thinking about who will be standouts on our team. Here's my picks for our standouts in each phase.

Offense: Josh Jackson. I think he's going to take his game to the next level against Clemson.
Defense: Adonis Alexander. When Alexander is in the passing game for Clemson will be difficult to sustain.
Special Teams: James Clark. It's long overdue that Clark takes one to the house.

What are you picks?

We need Joey Sly to show up for this game. No Kick offs out of bounds, no short FG misses and we may need him to kick a long one for us tonight. Hope he doesnt get caught up in the moment and can focus on doing his job.

Pour some Beer on it

According to Desmond Howard, Joey's going to win it for us in the end!

On defense, I'm gonna pick Mook. I think he blows up a couple of short passes with big tackles. And on offense I'm going to go with the left side of our O-Line. Not saying they will dominate but I think Nijman and Teller hold up a lot better than people are expecting against Clemsons D-Line.

Here lies It's a Stroman Jersey I Swear, surpassed in life by no one because he intercepted it.

I'm hoping we can get Clark to stand out on offense too

1) Big Tim and Rick need to blow up there o-line and get pressure on Bryant as much as possible.

2) Slye can not, I repeat, can not miss any kicks, especially chippys. This kind of game we can't afford that.

3) somebody other than Cam need to show up in a big kinda way. Clemson will probably shadow Cam with 2 defenders forcing another WR to make plays.

4) The whole o-line. Hold your assignment. Don't let the Clemson d-line get any kind of momentum.

Bleeding burnt orange and chicago maroon

If we run the Bear D like we did against OSU in 2014, I think our whole D-Line has a chance stand out AND not wear out.

Bud Foster, Brad Cornelsen, Josh Jackson, Cam Phillips.

Is Alexander in today? I printed the depth chart and I don't see him on there...

I think Kelly Bryant is going to stand after every sack and escort himself out to the sideline

I think there will be stand outs for both teams. The freshman RB for Clemson is going to have a great game I think. I don't think we will get anything going in the run game, so we will have to utilize short passes and I've always thought McMillian is capable in that regard. On defense Lawrence is gonna blow up some plays big time for Clemson and so will Walker for VT.

I worry Slye will stand out but for the wrong reasons.
I think Fuente will stand out in the second half.
I bet Blacksburg will stand out as the best Gameday location there is.
I think one member of our defensive line will stand out.
I can't stand outside too long without a coat when its cold

Not too far off tbh

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

I worry Slye will stand out but for the wrong reasons. - Missed one but so did Spence. 2 Return yards, not too shabby
I think Fuente will stand out in the second half. - Tied the second half
I bet Blacksburg will stand out as the best Gameday location there is. - True
I think one member of our defensive line will stand out. - Hill
I can't stand outside too long without a coat when its cold - It's 36 degrees in State College this morning

Those who tried and failed to scalp tickets

Clemson

Fox

I didn't realize how good this guy was. Nicely done

Settle stood out for me. Blew up some plays on the dline.

The big fella chasing Bryant out of bounds in the 1st half was a great effort play. Kept Bryant from turning upfield and getting some big yards.

That sack where he beat the chop block was highlight reel worthy.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.
