I figured they would get it. I'm a little disappointed, but they're deserving of it. Might actually work out better for us, not having all the distractions of Gameday.
I'd have to say I'm probably not alone in saying the GT game concerns me more than the Miami game. I think we match up well against Miami, but defending that triple option of GT is usually a big problem for us. Wish we could bring back Kyle Fuller for that game to defend the option as well as he did in that Thursday night, Hokie stone uni game several years ago. If Mook can defend the option like Kyle did that night, we'll be ok.

Not surprising. OU and OSU are in the actual discussion for the playoffs. Even at 7-0, no one is thinking da U is a serious contender to make the play offs and they see VT as the longest of long shots (at best). As a result, this isn't surprising and is actually a rational decision.

Maybe the least controversial decision ESPN has made all year.

Floyd is really good in run support. The reason he got pulled in favor of Deablo was he was getting burned on the pass.
I think Mook would most mimic what Kyle Fuller did.
Our chances of getting GameDay to Miami would've been as good as trying to get a half packed Miami stadium.
Did anyone honestly expect them to pick Miami? They can't even fill out a stadium, let alone a pregame show 12 hours before the game.
