YES! This is the type of investment that that leads me to believe the Bills want to actually help Tyrod. Each of the past two seasons he has had almost no capable wideouts. Now with a 5-2 record and guy as big and talented as Benjamin, there chances of making the playoff actually become real now!

They don't want to help Tyrod, they want to help the QB they're going to replace him with. They shafted him with that restructured contract, and Tyrod shouldn't give them the time of day when his next contract negotiations come around
Edit: Call me now, and I'll predict your future too
I wasn't aware of that. I'll change my opinion to Tyrod should give them the time of day, but if they don't exercise his option for 2018 and pay him the money he deserves, they need to kick rocks.

If he can keep it up and stay healthy (knock on wood) it should work out for him. Tyrod bet on himself and is having the best year of his career. The increasing number of terrible NFL QBs should only help his value next year.

#Sauces: Was having real issues with the front office. Constantly battled due to his weight, still didn't know the playbook, and attempted to skip practice multiple times the past three weeks!

I agree completely, it's just what I have heard from individuals close to it. It's hard to save face when your own players are going on social media sharing their thoughts on it, and I'm fine with the players doing it!

Never really seemed like he and Carolina meshed. Went to the Super Bowl the one year he was out for the entirety. He could make some circus catches but he also got real lazy on some plays. Hopefully he helps Tyrod out, but I'm not super upset about the trade as a Carolina fan.

That had less to do with the WRs and more to do with the fact the OL actually played well in 2015 (until SB50, that is) and allowed Cam enough time to make progressions to find open receivers. Even with that said, they still had an absurd number of drops that season. Losing KB doesn't help their offense, it only makes it worse.

Come on, the offense is already in the toilet. It literally can't get a whole lot worse than it was. I'm not saying it's gonna get better magically. But I'll take a couple of picks for a guy who was going to walk in a few months and has underperformed to varying degrees during his time in the league. Am I glad he's gone? Not really. But I don't see why anyone is "royally pissed" at this.

You mean, outside of the fact a team who is 2 games over .500 and can't run the ball trades its top receiver for a 3rd and its own 7th round picks while still ignoring the biggest weakness in the offensive line? Yeah, I can't imagine why there is major unrest throughout the area right now, watching the franchise do this in the middle of Cam and Luke's prime.

Absolutely! Mike Shula is a horrible OC, and should have been fired midway through last year, at the absolute latest. However, at this point, its unlikely anything will be changing between now and when Richardson dies.

I don't know what to make of this. As a Carolina fan I know he's expendable, but I thought last off-season was the time to shop him. As a Hokie Yay for Tyrod!!! He doesn't always give 100 percent. (Wouldn't be the first gifted person to coast on natural ability) KB, if anything else, is a redzone/3rd-and-forever savior. The key is: can Buffalo negate his downfalls by maximizing his upside? I think he'll fit better with Tyrod and McDermott (a take no s**t kind of coach) if he wants to get paid well his next payday.

Carolina fan's should look at the real problem. Cam Newton.
Last season, the year after the super bowl loss to Denver, Cam had a completion percentage of 52.9, worst in the league. 19 TDs, 20th in the league. 14 INTs 10th worst in the league and a rating of 75.8, 28th worst.
This year he has improved a little, 63.1% (16th), 10 TDs (16th), 11 INTs (Worst), Rating of 79.1 (26th)

If anything, that just further exposed the issues with the OL and Shula. Its bad enough that the OL can't pass or run block to save its life, but to see Shula constantly ring up long developing pass after long developing pass interspersed with jet sweeps behind said OL that deploys the 'Ole!' form of blocking on the outside...

The current GM and coach were not in Buffalo when Tyrod restructured his contract.

#sauces: weak character assassination attempt by the Panthers front office to save face with a royally pissed off fanbase is obvious.

Oh but don't worry... the interim tag on Marty Hurney has been extended through the 2018 Draft and Free Agency.
This franchise will continue to flounder until Jerry Richardson is dead.

Its biggest weakness is offensive coaching. The people who are pissed at the correct thing have been so for a long time.

And, looks like they found Benjamin's replacement...
Yep, they just signed Brenton Bersin

The real problem is a garbage Offensive Line and Mike Shula.
Missing 80 catches and 1000 yards from security blanket Greg Olsen can't help either

Well. Cam sure looks like he's having fun still.
Tyrod was yanked in the Saints game after producing 6 punts and 1 interception.
