The best part about Kyle's play was the beginning when he was jumping the snaps. I'm a huge Steelers fan and all I could think of was Polamalu leaping over the line, Kyle wasn't quite on that level but he was damn close.

Rip his freaking head off!

Kyle leaping the line definitely should be in the BUZZCAP

His spirit animal is Troy Polamalu

Wait a minute, anyone else notice that Gardner-Webb ranks #1 in holding GT to fewest yards. How did that happen?

Good find. thanks. That looks like it would be a terrible game to have watched.

Maybe that was the first time GT played under Paul Johnson? and they didn't know how to run his offense yet? I dunno, just guessing here

Edit: I didn't see that recap from above. So they had no QB.

Joshua Nesbitt was hurt and did not play. Tevin had not arrived, so the backup was a pure pocket passeer, not a Paul Johnson recruit.

Most of the really bad games are from 2008

I think the biggest thing to remember is that this game was close too. Gah Tech could still run their normal offense. They didn't have to worry about playing catch up too much until mid way through the 4th quarter. The Miami and BYU games were blow outs.

Yeah, why do they have injury reports? Just list all 85 players as questionable and call it a day. It's not info the press needs to have and to avoid compromising yor integrity, just stop doing it.

It's an ACC policy, not a Virginia Tech one. The league mandates injury reports, just like the NFL does.

I was under the impression that the injury report rankings are based on the likelihood a player will play. The more serious the ranking, the less likely they are to play (for example: a doubtful player probably won't make an appearance but a questionable player is 50/50).

If Thomas was hurt but the coaches were 100 percent sure he was going to play, they could absolutely withhold him from practice and not put him on the injury report without being accused of lying.

My gosh, where do the comments on all these Roanoke Times articles come from? The toilet...store..?

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

....zing..?

Another great read Andy.
