You couldn't be more right! Every game they do win is because they got lucky. I missed half of their game but my dad said that the referees were really siding with Tennessee in a lot of situations. I swear, they get their refs right off Neyland Drive.

Yeah, the Dominique Terrell plays on ST. I remember wanting him to come to VT, as he was highly hyped coming out of high school. I barely blame the kid, though, it appears that he hasn't been coached up much.

Early thoughts (too many games on right now!):
1. UNC looks flat and I hope ECU stomps them so everyone will realize that they're actually a decent team, making our win look better
2. USCe also looks very uninspired and I would love to see UCF upset them so everyone shuts up about how Jadeveon Clowney is the god of football (lot of game left there, though)
3. LOLUVA - I expect Pitt to win by at least 3 TDs

The targeting rule implementation is awful this year. They need to throw the flag, and then review whether or not the player should get ejected. It should not be an auto-ejection with opportunity to overturn the ejection.
This will never work. It's too logical.

OK, this targeting thing is getting out of hand. Seriously, if you overturn the ejection, how can you NOT overturn the penalty yards? Aren't you admitting that it wasn't targeting if you overturn it?
This is what I don't get. If the targeting is overturned, then there is no actual penalty that occurred
If it's not targeting, the penalty is enforced as unnecessary roughness: hitting a defenseless receiver. Targeting (with an ejection) has to involve a helmet-to-helmet hit or the defender leading with the crown of his helmet. Neither of those occurred on that play.
Good explanation. I had actually never heard it reasoned out like that. In that case, it makes much more sense.
Because that would open up the possibility of reviewing other penalties, which they don't want. I get it, I don't like the original rule, but I understand the logic behind not overturning the yardage.

Florida hasn't been very good this year (although it is only Kentucky, so they should pull it out).
Ole Miss should lose to Bama, and Wisconsin has a tough one against OSU.
ND and Oklahoma will be a good one. Currious to see who comes out on top there.
Who knows, even Fresno St. could lose!
Also, if UCF wins, they should become ranked. But I have faith we'll be, at the worst, just outside looking in. I think we end up 27-29.

I don't think most pollsters watch most games. You win, you go up. You lose, you go down. Who you play and how you won or lost doesn't seem to move you much in the polls. Just look at how we were ranked last year after week 4. Yeah we were undefeated, but I think most of us knew it was going to be a rough season.

Truly enjoying seeing ECU put a beat-down on the Squeals. Not only does it validate our victory, it also just makes the Squeals realize that they are nowhere near the best team in their own state, unlike VT. Hopefully VT wins all 4 games vs NC opponents and reaps some recruiting benefits from it as well.
UNC's coming back unfortunately, with 12 minutes left!! The problem with all these damn spread/air raid offenses is that it makes the games run over terribly long.

True, but these type teams just like to keep running their offense even when up by 2-3 scores, and its like, run the clock down! WVU just did that on their last drive, ended with a FG and 4 minutes left for OK State to come back and win it with a TD.

We missed two FGs and an extra point - that's 7 points that should have made the score 22-10.
Plus we had a long pass intercepted at the ECU 32 - who knows what could have resulted from that drive had that pass been caught by the Tech WR?
